I have both the Uniden R3 and R7 and would highly recommend them. The R3 has less bells and whistles, but is still highly configurable and has the same range performance. Vortex Radar has excellent reviews and videos for these devices.

Detector works wonderful, accurately detects everything

Bought this as I did some back and forth traveling to Phoenix. I wanted something that wouldn’t break the bank, light weight, and had great reviews. Zeroes in on the Uniden. They saved me quite a few times along I-10.

I had so much fun of using this helps a lot for everyday use.

I had a Bell radar for years works great but wanted to buy this as a upgrade and it’s real good only issues I have is the fact it can’t tell if you’re on the highway or local streets and the other problem is that telephone jack plus it already broke its made to cheap and for the money it should be heavy duty

This is the one to have to go on a road trip. When it alerts you take the time and pay attention because it's really letting you know their is something up. So don't forget to watch out because this one is the best one you could ever purchase.

This thing works beautifully! The included manual only teaches you so much...and is kind of confusing to follow. So to get the most use out of this device, do some online learning so you can feel more confident about the different frequencies and how specific they are for radar guns vs other electronics (ie automatic doors).

Good little radar detector. Does go off when no police around. I'm sure there is a setting to avoid that.

Yes, this think actually works. It picked up every cop around me that had lasers on and K bands. I live in New York so around my area is state troopers. Yes it’s real and it does work.

Great R3 radar detector hit has saved me over 10 times in the time I have owned the R3 i haven't got any tickets thanks to this radar also since I bought it there has been 2 software updates so you know your getting a company product that supports there stuff.

Excellent detector! I Made the mistake and put my R3 into the wife’s car since she works and I am retired, It was never returned and she enjoyed having it in her car. This makes one in each car and couldn’t be happier with the purchase!

It’s pretty good in range but I still ended up getting a ticket

It had this small suction cup that you stick onto your windshield, but it doesn't stick all too well. It sticks well for it to stay on for a couple days, but it'll fall once you touch it after that. There is another suction cup thing that's bigger and is similar to a phone mount, but I'm not a fan of that. Other than that, it's great!

Not great. Many false alarms and beeps too late. Not a fan

Awesome detector for price highly recommend filter for false signals is good too.

My husband is a tractor trailer driver and he loves it

This is an excellent value. You get some of the nicer features of the more premium radar detectors. It does still have false alerts, but you are able to manually mark them, so it doesn’t go off the next time you drive by a certain location.

It’s like anything else, the more you pay, the better it performs:/

These are a must have for the long car rides. We commute daily in the dark with this running.
