Uniden just updated the FW to v1.50 and now the BSM filtering is borderline perfect. Two simple thoughts. 1) You don't need auto lockouts and 2) you don't really need the front and back arrows but admittedly the intel could help situational awareness. So, save $200 and buy an R3. It is the clear winner with best in class performance, small form factor, and excellent price.

This is the second one I have bought. The first one works so good, I got another for my other truck. Easy to use and give you ample notice of speed traps.

I returned my Escort IX for this and I love it. I've always ran Escort for years but decided to try something different since my Escort IX liked to false alarm on everything. So far this one is quiet and the range detector on this thing just blew my Escort out of the water...its insane. This thing has already saved me so it's already paid itself off.

Super easy to set up & easy to use. don’t take up much space.

I bought mine back in February. It has saved me MANY times. The range is excellent. I once picked up a state trooper who had to have been at least 1.5 miles away! It's picks up radar over and at the bottom of hills also...knew he was there before he knew I was! I never leave home without it even on short trips to the grocery store.

Over a 3 year time span, I received 6 speeding tickets and was ordered to complete the defensive driving course not once...but twice. I bought this radar not long after my last ticket, and that was 2 years ago. Coming from someone who was getting a speeding ticket every 6 months, trust me when I say this works wonders at giving notice. Recently though, there have been several times when the radar appeared to be completely dead. I've unplugged it, and plugged it back in and usually within 10 minutes or so, it'll start working like normal again. I wouldn't expect it to malfunction after only 2 years, especially not for the price. Overall, it has saved me from countless tickets,impound fees, etc. so I would still recommend it, just know that there's a chance it will stop working around year 2.

I bought a v8 challenger and shortly after got this and its so good at detecting. I mainly use it traveling back and fourth from idaho to washington and its saved me everytime. If theres a cop and there radaring it will pick it up around a few corners. Once you get used to it you know when you need to slow down. Highly recommend

Great range, easy to use, nice features. (Except for the marking of false alarms, it never would silence those) But after using it for about a month, it simply stopped working. It won’t turn on or anything. I have done plenty of troubleshooting, bought new cords, etc, to no avail. I paid $400 for something that worked about a month and then quit. (I will say it did save me from probably 4 tickets in that month though.) All it did was sit on my windshield, I got in my car one day, started the car, and nothing from the Uniden. My guess is I got a lemon, but Best Buy probably won’t do anything because I didn’t buy a protection plan. I got the short straw apparently. Lucky me

First learned about this detector on Vortex Radar YouTube channel and I have to say this detector has been amazing and has been working flawlessly for the past few years. It is my go to. It picks up signals FAAAAAAR away!

One of the most recommended detectors online and word of mouth from friends. Wife’s got a lead got so this should help! I’ve hardwired hers into her rear view mirror but if we ever need to move it to the SUV for road trips it’s easily plugged in!

Served me well so far. Good range, ability to change the sound of each band and great customizability. Not too many patrol cars running radar in my area but has picked up every one that is.

I've had this since 2018 and love it. It has worked flawlessly and better to be safe than sorry. I would def recommend.

Works as it should. Detects from very far giving you plenty of time to correct your speed. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for one of these.
