R7 is better bc of design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the r7 and besides the display kinda failing in 2 years everything works perfectly and saved me many times. The design on r8 is really bad and basically canceling the back protection for laser. I know ... Laser alerts are normally just telling you that you got a ticket but it's good to have protection from laser in the back as well. the sensor doesn't pass the raised portion of the detector. I recommend r7... and hopefullyu r9 designers take some classes before release

The second one the same screen went completely dimmed and can’t get it bright. So stay away.
