As long as you go into this game knowing that there is not a whole lot of gameplay, such as shooting and platforming, you should enjoy this game. It really is like an interactive horror movie. Also, the "make your own choice" system keeps it fun and interesting. I felt like my decisions did actually have affects on what was going on. This also adds to the replay-ability of the game. My one gripe is that $60 felt like a little much for it overall.

Beautiful graphics, story is exciting and fun. Definitely worth getting if you like story/decision games.

I have not started this yet. I had no interest in this game as a game to play since I am not usually into horror, although I do casually like movies like scream and such. When this game arrived moving from ps3 move game to full fledged ps4 game I was pleasantly surprised with the reviews and overwhelmingly positive attitude towards this game so I had to buy it. I might not play it right away but it will be added to my yearly halloween game list. Everyone needs at least one good horror game to play for the holidays and this should be it.

Great game. Plays like heavy rain, where you have action buttons to press for quick action decisions. Full of suspense and creepy atmosphere.

Good scary story telling the dialog is a little rough at times but overall great looking and the decision seem like they do make a difference

When 8 friends become trapped on a remote mountain getaway gone wrong, things quickly turn sinister and they start to suspect they aren’t alone. Every choice you make while playing as each of the eight friends – even the seemingly trivial ones – will carve out your own unique story.

This game is so underrated. I love the graphics and the whole unique storyline.

Finished the game in about 8 hours but will be playing through again

This game is, more an interactive story, and less a straight up video game. It's not unfair to liken it to the likes of David Cage and Quantum Dream if that gives an idea of gameplay. Which is to say that you will often explore small areas, and an extensive use of Quick Time Events at certain points throughout the game. Unfortunately the sparse areas to explore, and over usage on QTEs can often try one's patience. The story then plays an even more important role as there isn't much gameplay to be had. The game definitely takes it's influences of teen slashers to the point where some find it a tad over-bearing. I personally did not find this to be the case, but I did find the story to be a bit unbalanced, [Vague Spoilers]as it comes across a little more like two different stories hamfisted together, to justify the initial price of the game. I would have preferred it more had it been two separate, more tightly knitted stories, than it's current state[/Spoilers]. And while the idea of the Butterfly Effect and difficult choices that can lead to characters death is a good idea. It is that some choices seem to matter little, while others seem innocuous, but end up devastating down the line. It really hurts the faith you put into it, when you don't understand in hindsight why some choices lead to where they do. I do really hope Supermassive Games learns from their mistakes, and that they release a followup game on this. I think a second game could really take what Until Dawn does right, and make for an immensely exciting game. As it stands, it's a fun game, but I don't know if I would justify spending more than ~$20 on it.

Until Dawn is very cheap now (and was even free recently on PSN for Plus users). There's no reason not to play it if you haven't yet. Jump scares, unintentional laughs, and every B-horror movie trope come together for a great Heavy Rain-like experience. Just go with the flow, and don't think too much about your decisions. Have fun! Great graphics and story it's like playing a horror movie with the player making all the decisions

I have been waiting for this game since it was announced back in 2012. Although it has gone through many changes during its development, I am quite pleased with the outcome. The story keeps you hooked as the chapters unfold, upping the creep factor. The game plays in the same vain as Heavy Rain: a lot of outcome-changing decisions as well as quick-time events. With nearly 100 possible endings, this is a game I will be sure to play again.
