First of all this game is COD so don't get this if that is what you are expecting. This is a storytelling interactive game with QTE's and narrative choices. The character's are great and well acted and the story is your normal teenage horror flick with a darker twist. I really loved how my narrative choices affected the story and how it unfolded. It was very well done. You get clues as totems that can foreshadow events which help when making choices. The QTE's are at very tense moments and really makes you feel like you are there. I only kept two characters alive in my first try but I will play again during Halloween and try to keep all of them alive. If you like these type of games I would definitely recommend it as it is better than David Cage games as your choices really affect the outcome of your characters. My GOTY so far!

This game does a great job being an interactive campy horror movie. This isn't your normal video game, it is more like a cinematic experience and really immerses you into the game. I have played through it several times and still continue to enjoy the game. I look forward to the next game that is similar

They took the whole "teen slasher flick" style and stuck it into a game. Very suspenseful and you will easily get multiple play through's outta this game as there are many different endings available based on game play choices. If you're a fan of horror games you should pick this one up and give it a try.

This is a great game to play with friends one night and more. The decision making process is fun to do when you have friends to argue with about the choice made. The game has a lot of replay value and has a good story to want to follow. The cover art is pretty simple but works for the style.

I had seen some reviews and some lets play's of this game which convinced me to pick it up. The game has hooked me in and I can't wait to play again to see what other choices would do. There are some slight jump scares but it really reminds me of those 90's horror flicks, in a good way. Super fun.

I followed this game since it was revealed. It looked like a great game but when it comes to horror-like type games I'm always skeptical about whether or not I should buy them. I ended up buying this game once I saw best buy had a sale on it for $14.99. The game is definitely a good play with nice little thirlls here and there but the problem for my comes in with long-term playing. For me, this game got boring really quick after about maybe 2 hours or so of playing it. There was just too much unnecessary suspense and long talking scenes. I can only play this game for maybe 30 minute intervals before turning it off. I haven't beaten the game yet due to life commitments but I would still ultimately recommend the game especially if you have someone you can play it with. This game kinda reminds me of a movie and I found that the best time I had playing this game was when I was playing it with friends. Still only about 20% of the game at this moment in time lol.

I've enjoyed games like Heavy Rain & this game follows the same genre albeit more on the horror story side. The graphics is very good especially the facial animation. I very much enjoyed the story as well as the game play where your choices impacts the game. Highly recommended.

This game really went past my expectations. This is basically a b level horror movie, where you get to make your own decisions and see the story play out based on your choices. It's a single player game, but playing with somebody else helping you decide is really the only way to do this.

Did you dig choose your own adventure books growing up? Horror movies? This will be right up your alley. Whether you play it alone or with a group of friends choosing how the story unfolds, it's a surprisingly engaging experience and one of the best games on the PS4.

Got this for my wife , who isn't a fan of shooter games or any good at them anyways, but still wanted something to play. So if you fall in this category, this is your niche game. Watching her play it kept me interested through the story and it has some intense moments and is gruesome. I actually want to have a run through myself once she is done.

All the tropes of your average teen horror movie are present. The character stereotypes, isolated location, and a killer on the loose! Nice twist ending. Though predictable at times, the branching story lines make each playthrough fun to see who makes all the way to the end. Choose wisely or suffer the consequences.

I purchased this game after reading some glowing reviews and was honestly surprised by experience. I got virtually no press leading up ti its release and came out being one of the funnest and most interesting deconstruction of the slasher genre I've found in a game. Its excellent and I think if you're a fan of the genre you should give it a shot.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of actually purchasing this game! Since it is the typical story of some teenagers stuck in a cabin in the woods with no one to contact yadda yadda! If I wanted a story like that then I just go watch the movie "Cabin in the Woods"! But I have to say that actually playing it is much different than being a spectator. Love the aspect that any of your choices can and will affect who lives and who dies... and sometimes the correct choices are not the obvious ones! But if you want some jump scares with some decent kinda of suspense and having to make the hard decision of who lives and who dies that you cannot take back by turning the game off (believe me I tired!) then this game is for you... granted if you are into horror and don't mind the aspect of another cabin in the woods story it is a fairly decent game made awesome with surround sound, at night, and the lights turned off...!

Until Dawn is a great game that definitely gives off the vibe of playing through a scary B-movie. Highly underrated and underplayed, it definitely deserves a play through for anyone who enjoys the scary genre. Try to pick it up for $20 or less and you're in for a treat!

Great game if you don't mind QTE's and dialogue selections. You choose who lives and dies by your decisions. They have a branching story line based on the choices you make(butterfly effect). You also collect totem poles and other stuff that will help you make the right decisions. It is just a game you need to try to fully understand how fun it is to play if you like the Heavy Rain/Beyond Two Souls genre. The story was typical summer horror flick but it works in the premise of the game which is the main thing. I was only able to keep 2 of the 10 people alive in my first try. I will play it again to try to keep all my characters alive. I would definitely recommend this game as it is a great Sony exclusive that they should have advertised more.

This game features the butterfly affect, meaning the plot changes based off your choices. The butterfly effect allows you to run through the game multiple times with a new experience each, granted that you make different choices each time you play. Overall a fantastic game!!!

An all around beautiful game. From story, to graphics, to gameplay. Just creepy enough to keep you on the edge of your seat, and can be played many different ways with many different choice combinations to alter the ending. A must own/play for the PS4. Two thumbs way way up.

I enjoyed this game. Thought it was short in play time but was a good story. There were scarey moments. I jumped a few times. It is a replayable game. I only saved two characters for I made a few bad choices. I will play again to try to save more characters or all of them ?

The graphics on this game are out standing there they're crazy just like you're in a real movie cool thing is is as the game goes by you make choices to change the out out point of the game in the ending I highly recommend this game to people
