I was expecting more from this CD. It's a cd that you are going to love it or hate it. Nothing in the middle.

Kendrick Lamar's latest, untitled unmastered, is being billed as a collection of songs that missed the cut for his most recent album, the highly praised, To Pimp A Butterfly. While that may be the case, these are hardly rough demos, but rather completed tracks, most of which follow in the same vein, and feature many of the same contributors, as TPAB. If you enjoyed that album, I would definitely recommend getting this one as well, to complete the experience.

I really enjoyed this surprise project from Kendrick Lamar. I wasn't sure if it was real or just an internet rumor, but then I saw it at Best Buy and couldn't wait to buy it! I love how the album lives up to its name, giving us a glimpse at the behind the scenes of Kendrick's sessions and some great unreleased music. Tracks 2, 7 and 8 are my favorite, but 3 is great too!

Kendrick Lamar continues to amaze me. He's one of the few rappers that I listen to due to the current state of Hip-Hop. 5* for one of the most elaborate rappers today.
