I'm gonna keep playing it for the story and characters, which are not bad. But the gameplay is shallow and repetitive, and the game has serious pacing issues. Really wish they'd have kept the combat system from previous Valkyria titles - I miss it.

A different take on the Valkyria Chornicles game series.

awesome game, special edition have great soundtrack

Valkyria Revolution, while definitely having its place in the Valkyria Chronicles universe, suffers from poor execution in the gameplay department. The story is staid, and the art direction is the only saving grace.

There was something magical about Valkyria Chronicles that this doesn't capture. It loses a lot of the strategy elements to become a generic action rpg thing. It was on sale, otherwise I would pass.

I, like most people, picked this up because of my love of Valkyria Chronicles. I knew this wasn't going to be the same kind of game, but I bought it anyway thinking it'd be a neat spin on a great franchise. It wasn't. The graphics are somehow worse than the PS3 original, the combat is repetitive and bland, and most of characters are tired tropes. Skip this one and hope they make a proper sequel or localize the third game like they should have done in the first place.

Can't say I recommend this one. This is a low point for the franchise. Don't waste your money.

Nothing special here...lame graphics and a slow start...stick to the first title in the series.

Bad game but it was cheap. I like the pin. Basically worth the 10$ -20% I paid.
