Honestly kind of a chaotic mess

But the gameplay is shallow and repetitive, and the game has serious pacing issues. Really wish they'd have kept the combat system from previous Valkyria titles - I miss it.

Mediocre Revolutioning

The story is staid, and the art direction is the only saving grace.

Disappointing

I knew this wasn't going to be the same kind of game, but I bought it anyway thinking it'd be a neat spin on a great franchise. It wasn't. The graphics are somehow worse than the PS3 original, the combat is repetitive and bland, and most of characters are tired tropes. Skip this one and hope they make a proper sequel or localize the third game like they should have done in the first place.
