We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot.
1. Check if the indicator of the car charger flashes. If it flashes, please kindly use an available MINI USB cable and power it via a 5V/3A adapter for an hour to see if it works.
2. Use a card reader to format the SD card to FAT32. Please kindly save the recorded videos and pictures before formatting the SD card.

3. Use a pin to reset the device directly. The reset hole is behind the camera. Then please enter Settings, choose factory settings to set the device to default.
4. Unplug the rear camera kit to see if the front camera works well.

Quality of video and recording is clear and perfect. Cool features it has is that you can watch recorded videos on the dashcam and you can also see both front and rear cam live at the same time! You can turn it off and can be still use as a normal mirror as well. Highly recommend you wont be dissapointed.

This one has been great and was easy to install and the quality has been great. I had it for over 6 months no issues what so ever. Even below zero the dash cam and rear cam works great

Good at night, bad during day

Been in an accident just after 2 weeks of installing the product. Saved me thousands of dollars by providing clear proof of non-fault accident. Best customer service as well.

I now have footage of any car accidents and interactions with police. I got this after someone tried to blame me for a car accident. But I didnt have any proof. This will solve that problem! It's also great if you do uber/lyft to have customer interactions on tape. It never stops recording so you will have proof of everything. It even has a touch screen.

It's disappointed me twice, which is way more than I thought it would have - on both occasions, there was no footage at all. For some reason, even after I used the system format to format the card TWICE, it still did not capture anything.. TWICE! I would have loved footage to supplement my claims or even post onto r/IdiotsinCars, but nope - this dashcam has been a disappointment time and time again and I will never trust Vantop with something so important like this. Invest in something better.

1. Did you use a new card? Please send us a picture of the SD card, and then we could check their specification. It's suggested to use a SD card with a capacity of up to 128G above class 10, and some compatible brands such as SanDisk, Samsung, etc.
2. There are two steps to format the SD card before using it. Please try to format the SD card to FAT32 on the computer, and then insert the card into the camera and enter Settings to format it again.

3. Replace another 32 GB SD card to check if it works well.

Not only does it not get in the way, like others do; but it also adds functionality. With 2 kids, we often fill up the whole trunk and block the view out of the rear windshield; but with the camera and display, we still have a great functional rearview mirror - one that sees even better in the dark and is even wider than what my eyes and the original mirror would show.
