At the time of purchase, I couldn't find many reviews for this phone, so I was just hoping for the best. I was coming from using a Droid X2 and wanted something similar, so comparing the two, here are a few Pros off the top of my head: This HTC is a little larger with a bigger screen, but still has the slim, not too bulky feel to it. It has both front and rear camera and this camera is way better than my old phone. It still came with the micro sd slot (some of the newer smartphones I looked at didn't have that anymore). My personal Cons: You can't take the back cover off and remove the battery like I could with my old phone. May not matter to some people, but that feature saved my phone countless times... for example: A month after buying my old phone, I dropped it in the pool and was immediately able to retrieve it, take the back cover off, remove the sd card and battery and start the drying out process, which worked because I continued using that phone for over 3 years after that happened. Also, I've been talking on the phone before and had it get wet from sweat or accidentally get the screen wet from my hands or something and had it start going crazy as if a ghost was controlling it. The screen would be switching from one page to the next and the keyboard would be typing out all sorts of stuff and it wouldn't stop no matter what button I'd press to the point I couldn't even get it to shutdown or to power off. Everytime this happened, I could always just take the battery out, pop it right back in and turn the phone back on and it would be fine. Unfortunately, with this HTC phone, I don't have that option anymore, so I have to be extra careful and put it on speakerphone. So far I haven't had any problems with it...and yes, I have even dropped it a few times and it's still working fine. So I'm happy with it:)

This is the second of these phones that I have had (first died tragically in a pool accident) and I never hesitated to get the same phone because this phone has done everything I have ever asked of it- its fast (sometimes 4G is faster than my wiFi) and the camera's very good. Its easy to use and while on the low end of HTC products, exceeded my expectations.

I love my HTC phone. The size is really nice. The features are better than i thought they would be. I would like to have the option of more memory but that is not available on this phone however, at this point i am satisfied with it.

Awesome phone for great price. the battery life is amazing. I won't have to charge it till I get home from work. I really love thiS phone. Fast and reliable. I would highly recommend the 1year insurance , like $50,from Best buy for this phone. Second week I had it dropped it and the screen cracked. They replaced it with no problems. They were even going to refund most of my obey back from purchasing the insurance. So I purchased a insurance again . The only thing that sucks is it is hard to find a phone case for this phone.

I really like this phone. I've been using prepaid for a couple of years as it saves with the contracts and cost way less per month. I love the size of the phone. It's not small to get lost but also not too big that it cannot fit in my small pocketbook. The battery life is great as I keep forgetting to charge it at night when going to bed. In the morning a still have a decent charge to get me through the day. I'm able to download apps easily and also use the internet. I don't really use it to watch movies but plan to use this feature in the near future. It's definitely a great buy. I also had to call my cell phone provider a few times in an attempt to get help with navigating my phone (I'm not very tech savvy). They were no help. However, when I called HTC company they were helpful and very professional.

This is what you'd expect from HTC. I haven't had any issues yet. I don't expect to. This phone has exceeded my iPhone 6 in many ways. Even with the plastic body it has an attractive look and feel. It's worth the extra money to not get a lower end device. (Yes, I know this isn't "high end," but for no contract, it's a great option). It has great 4G coverage in almost every place so far. Battery life is actually quite good (average for heavy users). Around 9 hours of streaming music with moderate web surfing. -Not great but it's better then Samsung and Motorola. If you're loyal to the Android OS, this is a good option. Although Kit Kat is sub-par, it hasn't frozen/locked up like every other Android that I've had (and even iOS).

I was using this as a temporary phone until I was able to spend more money on a samsung galaxy phone. For the price, screen size and features it's a great phone for anyone who is looking for a temp phone or someone who doesn't need the latest and greatest. I knocked off one star because having only 8gb of storage was an issue for me. You'll want to get a case for it because the back is a gloss black. It will get tons of smudges on it and I can tell it would get scratched up easily.

I got this phone to join the Verizon pre-paid plan and really love it. The data speeds are fast, and this phone is pretty good too. I like the camera, it's decent quality and takes great pics in low light levels. The storage is a little small, but a cheap micro SD card from Best Buy will expand your strange easily.

8GB is not very much... It does have a micro SD card slot though. Slim phone with a good camera. There is no removable battery - some people may not like that. I guess it depends on how long the battery lasts before it needs replaced - I haven't had it long enough to find out.

This phone has good specs and runs very fast. My only complaint is the lowner amount of internal storage.SD card slot though.

Nice large screen and keypad, easy-to-use, nice graphics, no contract, and a great price.

I resisted the smartphone as long as possible. This is my first real smart phone and I am quite pleased. I've had the phone a couple of weeks and am still learning how to use it, but I like the larger display. The camera is awesome and I love having a hotspot! For all you other resisters, you know you will have join the smartphone crowd eventually. Resistance is futile. This is a reasonably priced way to join us.

I cant believe how much phone this is for the money! I have been so pleased with my purchase. I haven't and issues with the phone either, and very user friendly.

If you are a Verizon fan. The no contact is great and I found the phone was priced great for what you get with it. Beautiful screen and spacious with it's 4.7 inches and it has an 8Gb memory so you have plenty of space to store all your info and photos. Recommend!

I love this phone. It does everything I want it to do. Takes great photos and video. Great sound quality. Easy texting. Love it!!!

Camera is not that great. I bought it for my 13 y/o sister and she likes it. Phone cases for the phone are hard to find even on Amazon, best buy doesn't Carry them. Sound is good quality, touch screen is good. I wouldn't recommend phone to an older person unfamiliar with the software. I give the phone a 7.

This is a good phone for those who want to try a smartphone. The user experience is decent. The quality of the phone is nice. Just wish Verizon had more choices for prepaid.

enjoy everything about this phone. Was a nice upgrade from previous phone and a nice value for the sale price.
