    We came to Best Buy to purchase a non contract phone that was on sale for AT&T. They were out of the phone and the sales associate recommended a better deal for this phone that is on special for $10. It was a Verizon phone but he claimed that it is unlocked and will work with our AT&T account. We learned that this was not the case and would not work with the AT&T sim card. We found advice that said the phone needed to be activated first with Verizon. Well, we have now invested more in this phone and have a new account that is not needed than going with the phone we had wanted. The phone itself works well and operates through Google apps. We had no problems with phone calls. The phone was a good buy if you are looking for a non contract phone with Verizon.
