Returned the fitbit and asked that you send what I actually ordered. Rather than follow direction to correct & complete my transaction, you refunded my money. My fiancé who lives an hour away from his elderly mother has now been without a phone for almost a month. I have, and will continue to, order elsewhere.

Solid smartphone for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this phone on-line about a week ago to replace an aging CDMA phone that was going to "go dark" next year when Verizon Wireless discontinues the plain-ole-CDMA service in favor of 4G/LTE - 5G service. Plusses: 1. Android 8.n is sufficiently current to be useful for a while to come. 2. You can format an external SD card (supposedly 128G max) as part of the phone's *internal* memory. 3. Camera is reasonably good, both front and back. 4. Does the "normal" Smartphone things well. Of course, a sub-$50 phone isn't going to stream 4k HD well, but it's a low end phone. 5. Big, bright screen. 6. A minimum of extra cruft leaves you the lion's share of the internal memory. Minuses: 1. Lacks fingerprint sensor 2. A bit bigger than I like, but that's just a personal preference. 3. It's locked prepaid to Verizon Wireless and they won't allow it on a post-paid account until it's been at least 30 days on a pre-paid account. 4. If you're looking for a super-dooper smartphone that you can play 3D high graphics games on, this isn't it. Then again, it's not intended to be a high-end gamer phone. Summary: If you're looking for a basic no-nonsense 4G/LTE phone at a phenomenal price, this phone is the one you're looking for. Note that I am tempted to buy a few more for other members of the family - it's that good.

Received broken -returned

Did scan and said there is equipment failure and need to return it to Best Buy. Had to pay $11 dollars to ship back as there isn't a UPS Store handy. Haven't heard a word on my refund... crickets. Would give phone and Best Buy a zero star if I could.

terrible set up

The person I ought it for can't get that to change because every time they go through all the prompts in Settings it goes dark before they can change it. Hopeless?

Mediocre at best

Phone usb is trash

Very slow phone

Worked Horrifically With Pokemon Go

When i try to trade with a friend or use the in-game camera or adjust the phone settings while playing the game it just shuts down the pokemon go app most of the time. i bought it hoping to play Pokemon Go on it and the experience was extremely poor. I thought the phone had 2 GB of RAM but it only has 1 GB. That was a mistake on my part but my other 16 GB storage/1 GB RAM phone (a Umax U683CL) can at least play Pokemon Go and it does not constantly shut down. That phone will get laggy after playing for awhile due to running low on memory I think and that's why I tried to buy a different phone, but it won't just shut down the app constantly the way this phone does. I don't know if this phone just wastes more memory with its Verizon apps or if it has a hardware issue but this phone is garbage for Pokemon Go.
