Best Buy's prices were much better than the carrier's prices on their website for the same phone.

Does NOT have NFC despite claims on website.

I bought this phone since I wanted to get an inexpensive phone with NFC and would be compatible with Android Pay / Samsung Pay. I called Samsung customer service and they said it did (despite the Virgin Mobile model not having NFC). When I opened the package it turned out not to have NFC like the Virgin Mobile model. I called customer service and they suggested I flash the phone. So I went back to flash the phone. Still no NFC. I called customer service back and they said there was nothing they could do despite what their website claims. So I returned the phone. I didn't get to test a lot of other features but I noticed that the screen isn't very smooth. When you try to swipe the screen my (clean) fingers sometimes got stuck in certain parts of the phone.

This phone works well as a second phone. Samsung phones are well trusted so I don't have any hesitation to purchase Samsung products.highly recommended.

Storage space on this phone is a joke

Do not buy this phone if you like to have your own apps installed. After 7 months of owning this phone and a few software updates from Verizon it has come to a point where I cannot install any of my own apps on the phone. I have to clear the cache on it just to get my emails through the massive bloatware on this garbage. An 8 gb phone is worthless. 4.49gb taken up by the OS and a further 3.10 taken up by the google and verizon apps preinstalled and impossible to remove. Never buy.

Don't buy this. 8gb phones shouldn't exist. They are worse than basic phones. But this if you want to be a joke and a clown. You get 2gb free to install 2 apps. Then what? Plus by the time you realize that, your phone I'd worth nothing. Bought it at 120, now it's 80. Don't waste your time and money and buy a 32gb phone.
