Worked great with the Vicks packs to create menthol steam in her room. The issue....when the tank feeds water to the humidifier, it makes a super loud GLUG GLUG sound, as the valve only opens when the water reaches a certain water level. The result...a soothing mist sound interrupted at least 3x per hour by a GLUG GLUG sound, which woke my daughter up several times. We scrapped this one and purchased a different brand with a quieter water feed. If you end up purchasing this one, I would run it a few hours before bedtime and then turn it off to avoid the GLUG GLUG sound throughout the night. For the price, it works, but the sound level is insufferable for continued use throughout the night.

It sends out moist air thru a very quite fan that you can’t see instead of a vapor mist which doesn’t spread far. It covers our large bedroom and the reservoir only needs refilling every other night. Definitely worth it.

The water lasts long, although I will warn that it gurgles often and it might sound like someone making weird noises. It kind of caught my coworkers off guard during a conference call.

Different from previous humidifier in that I don't see a mist coming out of device. Does seem to keep the room well humidified. No longer have itchy skin.

Buy extra filters

Even when you clean it and flip the filter properly, running it everyday the filter lasted us a month. Wish best buy sold the filters as well, but had to go on amazon for replacements.
