Also there is no time base correction. so every-time there is a cut or slo-mo on the video it doesn't recognize and gives you unusable image.

Update your video collection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As someone who has worked in the media for about 20 years I had a huge amount of VHS and other analog tapes that I couldn't even find a player to see them. After purchasing this product converting them to DVD was a breeze (although it converts in 1:1 time) and I am finally being able to eliminate all those VHS before they stopped working. My only caveat was that I would have loved other converting options, something that a simple file converter can accomplish, but would have been good to eliminate one generation.

It took a little time to get used to the interface with the product and a phone call to the company which was answered promptly. They answered all of my questions and the product actually delivers more than I was hoping for.
