Works Well for Digitizing Family Videos

It will automatically stop file creation upon sensing a loss of video signal, so that's a nice feature. If you have a scene that is a only couple of seconds long, however, the Vidbox may not recognize it. It will pick up the audio from a scene like this, but not the video.

Tape to digital

Had some difficulty in the beginning, but learned after a few attempts. Wish I could have recorded faster, but it did the job well.

This Is not meant to be an AVID video capture

If you need to capture analogue stuff you can .. its okay . .quality is all over the place , but largely no fault of this device . It is not a professional device in my opinion , but in an emergency or casual capture it does the trick . Priced ok as well.
