This is just as it was advertised. I have no complaints.

Works perfect converting from my 90's Sony Camcorder super 8 tapes. Great sound quality also. I download straight into a Dropbox file for cloud storage. It has an MP4 converter to switch files from MPEG2 and it works perfect.

DISCLAIMER: my experience with this product was through a 2019 Macbook Pro. I did not attempt to use it on a Windows product. The Vidbox was easy to set up. The software looked very dated as if it has not been updated in the last 10 years. But it was easy to navigate. I was able to see in the software the video and audio coming through from the tape I was playing. But after I recorded and saved it there was no visual of what was recorded. Only audio. I attempted many configurations throughout the software and even hardware but it did not work. I was not able to record audio AND video. Only the audio of the tape. I returned the product because it simply did not work.

Once I got the hang of this it works great for transferring vhs tapes to video. I’m making my children a video tape of their childhood. Thank you for all your help !

We held off trying to transfer by a commercial place because we wanted to find a way that we could control the transfer. We actually bought and tried one machine, but it never seemed to work correctly. The Vidbox led us through the process and we were able to transfer and save taped material.

This software comes with a CD that includes Windows software. There is also a code included for a Mac OS version. The video converter box is well-made and doesn't have the weak point on a cable that competing video conversion packages have.

Not at all good. I spent literally weeks trying to get this to work and have failed the support was not helpful at all. Extremely annoyed and disappointed not worth the price

Burning to dvd produces good results. Converting to mp4 seems to reduce video quality.

Doesn’t work with laptop as stated by store sales person. I will return.

This product meets the basic requirements to convert a VHS to DVD. I wish the product had some sort of feature where it would automatically stop the transfer once the content on the VHS stopped. I have to keep an eye out for when the content on my VHS ends in order for me to stop the transfer, otherwise it will keep running for hours.

I wanted something to work with my Mac to transfer my old VHS tapes to DVD. This does the job and does it well. Great product

Got this so I can convert old family videos to digital. So far I am loving the whole package, it is a must have for anyone who wants to convert Family VHS tapes to digital.

Turns out I didn’t need this after all but since it was about a year before my nephew got around to setting me up I figure it was to late to return it.

Wish there was a way to "pause" recording while the VCR continues. No pause means having to stop recording and re-starting as a new file/title. Awkward

This product works well. I thought it might be more interactive, but it does allow me to transfer VHS to my computer and then to a DVD if I want. Still have not figured out all the bells and whistles.

I wanted something with the ear hooks so I could go mountain biking without losing them. They fit great, sound good and didn't cost a fortune.
