Does not work on modern Computers

I ended up buying a HDMI video capture card and RCA to HDMI converter from Amazon for about $20 total that worked great. There are cheaper options that work better with modern tech.

Yes it works...but....

However, when I go to save the video file after recording, sometimes the software doesn't show I recorded anything at the export window and I have to record the 2 hour tape all over again. Very frustrating. Happens roughly 1/4 tapes. I have 25 more to go...wish me luck. Also the video quality could be better from the recordings too.
