Purchased and scheduled install at the store in Destin FL, that was the best part of the experience. Arrived early for my appointment and they got me in on time. Estimated install time was 3 hours and I was fully prepared for the wait, 5 hours later I got my vehicle back remote starter installed but unable to use as service tech advised at that time that two master ignition keys were required to complete the install and since I was visiting from Wisconsin I didn’t have the second key with me. As a result I had to find a Ford dealer and purchase a second key so the install could be completed. After getting the key I called and couldn’t get in until the next day. The installing service tech programed the keys but was not personable at all and at no time was I told how to use the system, no documentation or manuals were provided to me, I had to ask him how to start my vehicle using the remote and all he showed me was how to start with my factory key, still don’t know how to use the remote key fob that came with the unit or the upgraded unit I purchased in addition. Drove back to my son’s home 30 miles away from the store. All happy the ordeal was over and eager to show off the new starter I started the vehicle when I got back to my son’s and it ran for approximately 20 seconds and shut off and then started again and shut off again. This cycle continued until I disabled with the key, so there I was close to a grand into this purchase, two 60 mile round trips to the store and a remote starter that still didn’t work. I should also note that they do not answer the phone at the Destin store location, you’re put on hold (all automated) and after about 10 minutes of hearing how great Best Buy is you’re transferred to a main switchboard somewhere where you need to explain why you’re tying to reach a store and then they transfer you back to the same automated system where you can’t talk to anyone. It wasn’t until my fourth call and insisting the switchboard connect me with the Destin store manager that I finally was able to talk to someone and then it took another three days and another round trip to the store to finally get the system to work. In retrospect I wish I would have saved the money, time and frustration and not made the purchase at all.

Viper remote start is the only way to go. Viper makes superb quality.

It works as it should. With the included remote you can't tell if your car turned on as its a one way remote. Also the geek squad who installed it didn't really give any instructions as to the usage of the app

Why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the remote that comes with it does not work more then half the time. You have to pay more money to get a remote that does works. Which you shouldn't have too.

This remote is so much better than the one that comes with the remote starter kit! I do like the feature of usb charging, the only problem is, if I can remember to do that.

System was not being compatible with my 2019 ram had to return item and get different brand of remote starter

This remote start read itself iinn my dodge ram 1500. Its Awesome!
