works really well; one of the major disadvantages is that there is only one remote with this purchase; therefore if additional ones are needed you have to pay extra for it.

It’s fully functional with my 2016 KIA Sportage Factory remote. No need for a separate remote (although it comes with one.). The Bluetooth only works from about 30 feet away, but that’s typical of Bluetooth.

I purchased this to replace the exact model Viper, that's installed in a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. I took the original one installed to another Viper Dealer to purchase two remotes and after 2hrs 20mins, they were unable to get it programmed. I left and ordered a new unit from Best Buy to replace the limited lifetime warranty unit that appears to have failed. and the first shop failed to offer to replace it. They installed it and it worked for around 30 days. This morning was the 3rd time its failed to start the Jeep. So I guess I get to go back to Best Buy to see of they can figure out why it has frequently failed to start. I wish I would have just returned it after the first time, but I have missed the return with by exactly 1 week.

The unit is great. It works very well. I think they should give the cell phone free for a year and more people would keep it after the first year.

Difficult to start a car. It is a process but easy when you get the hang of it. Great value for the price.

Apps works via/Bluetooth as long as you are about 15-20ft away. The only downfall is it unlocks your car once you started it.

What an absolute nightmare dealing with the Maplewood Best Buy. The installer recommended the Compustar instead of the Viper. Took her 4 hours to install the remote starter. Starter doesn't work farther than 50 feet away. Call and leave 3 messages over a 3 day span and never get a return call. Stop in there and she can't do anything but schedule an appt to trouble shoot. Get to the follow up and sit for 30 minutes while she tries to get compustar on the phone only to return and say my vehicle isn't compatible with that starter. The one she recommended. But for $80 more she can get the correct remote. Ultimately had her take the starter out. What a joke.

Salespeople very helpful. Was installed quickly. Would recommend this store to everyone.

on the front of the box it states youre able to remote start from anywhere but from various testing and re attempts that is not true but still a very good product to own if you live in new england

Purchased this as a gift to my daughters and when it came time for installation by Best Buy, parts were missing that were supposed to be included and they wanted additional installation charges when installation was supposed to be included when I purchased the system as advertised. I specifically asked the associate when I purchased the product about harnesses, and he told me that I purchased the harness and everything would be in the box. Now when it came time for installation, its not there and the new installer told me that I had to pay an additional ~$108 and an additional installation charge. Unacceptable and thank you for refunding the money. However I would not recommend anyone do business with an organization that has hidden fees.

This has been a great purchase for my daughter who did not like dealing with the outside parking elements in the winter. Upgraded the key fob to have control on the locks and trunk. Best Buy did a great install.

I have found that it will drain the battery/killed the alternator if you just it all the time. better if only used in the south

I recently bought a total of 3 Remote Start systems as well as a new stereo and a backup camera as Christmas presents and had them all installed. Eric, Chris and the whole team at my local store were incredible and helped me look like a real hero on Christmas morning!!!

Horrible experience. I was purchasing the product as a Christmas present. I went to 4 different stores looking for this item in stock. The salesman at the 2100 s store advised me it was in stock, sold me the product, made an appointment for installation and charged me for the exchange. After handing me the receipt, I asked where my product was, he then advised me that they didn't have any in-store but everything will be with the tech at the time of installation at their American Fork location and all the vehicle owner had to do is show up to the appointment. This also put me in a predicament that I now did not even have a physical gift to give. On the date of installation, I received a call from the tech saying they did not have the product to install and that if I wanted it done I had to go to a different location, in another completely different town to pick up what I had already purchased from the store in SLC and also different from the store scheduled to do the installation. I was advised by the tech that if we could not get this done in 15 minutes, then the appointment would be cancelled as a no show. Obviously this would have been impossible for me coming from Tooele to have to go to a store in Orem to get a part for an installation in American Fork that I purchased in Salt Lake!. Needless to say, the appointment was cancelled indicating the customer was a "no show" and I then shortly after it was followed up by an email stating if I did not pick up the product soon they were reversing the changes on my card, therefore no Christmas present at all. I made multiple attempts to contact the store but all calls go directly to a phone service that appears to be located in a different country. I was told multiple times that I could not speak with a salesman or manager at the actual location. I wont even go into the hassle it caused for the recipient of the gift to even just pick up the product, it has yet to be installed.

The installation was professionally completed. I am extremely pleased with the end result snd eo I ld highly recommend thd Owings Mills, MD location for any car installation eork.

Purchased the Viper DS4+ remote start for my Mazda. The best part of this product is they have modular parts in case you want to expand features on this product. The current equipment has Bluetooth module which can remotely start the engine, lock & unlock the vehicle.

Works great! We set our heater where we want it and remote start it in the morning before taking the kids to school and it’s nice and warm when we come out to the vehicle. It’s set to run for 25 minutes when remote started
