I am currently having issues with my auto start. Not sure if it’s normal or not but I have a 2016 Toyota 4Runner and when I go to start it or unlock it by the remote bought, the factory alarm goes off. Was told to bring it back to have it looked at. Hopefully something can be done.

I purchased this for my son’s truck. He loves the convenience of being able to control it with his call phone.

This is my second Viper system. It works great. I only wish this system came with a second remote like my older system.

I have this on both of my cars now and my wife and I love being able to warm up are cars before we go anywhere

We have just recently purchased this auto start and have not really had a chance to really test in out in the rel world

Always been a fan of viper alarms, always install them in all my vehicles.

Unfortunately, when I picked up this item at Best Buy, I was told I needed a $100 wiring harness to complete the installation. My appointment for installation was almost a month out. When I showed up for my appointment (45 mins away) with the harness, I was told I needed to sacrifice one of my keys in order to complete installation (I don't drive around with both keys, nor would I give one up). I am very disappointed that this was not disclosed at time of purchase or at least at time of making the appointment. I returned the item because at some point, my time is valuable, even if Best Buy doesn't value it.

Best choice I’ve made yet. Easy start. I get in and go.The best addition to my car thus far!

This system is great. Also can be used with SmartStart app through Bluetooth.

Everything was prefect. The online purchase and in person pickup and installation. Scott the installer at Sandy Best Buy was awesome and fast! My son loves his remote start!

It's a simple remote starter. Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I have another viper on my truck and it now works when it wants too. I've had it for 3 yrs now. Just installed one on my wife's Honda Civic. We will see how long that one lasts.

Purchased this remote start with the intention to install it myself. They make you download an app called DirectLink which promps you to login or create an account. You need an account to access the firmware need to flash the starter as well as the installation guide. Unfortunately, "Only authorized dealers can login to the site." This explains why the box was already openned becuase someone probably realized like I just did that the manufacturer will not let customers who install it themselves and had to return it. You are forced to have Geek Squad install it even if youre more qualified.
