I was told this remote was great and would work through walls and from far away. Nope. It definitely doesn’t work from long distances. Sometimes it didn’t even work from a close distance. I took it in and was told they couldn’t do anything because it worked sometimes. Took it back again because I was so irritated and was told that it doesn’t work through walls or long distance. That’s not what I was told when I purchased it. They said they could maybe install a different one but I’ll have to pay $100. Definitely don’t buy this one.

Product seems good but the fitting of it not so much

I am very satisfied with my remote start. The technician who installed it was very thorough and gave great customer service.

Bought this gift for my wife for Christmas and her choice is to wait 2 months to have it installed an hour drive away or try to return it. Then we check and they say it's no longer returnable. Not cool. Don't buy an install from Best buy for your car. Clearly they are under staffed and sell more than what they can reasonably handle.

Does not come with a usb charging cable. No manual. Works great

So disappointed i got it and it stopped working after a week, i went back the technician looked at it and fix it and 2 days later it stopped working again so im scheduled to jave it removed from my car.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. Not for the product but the customer service. I bought this to surprise my hubby for Christmas. I got to my appt only to find out I didn’t have what I needed (2 keys, we only had 1). So I had them install but we couldn’t use. I left and finally spent the money to have another key made only to find out we had a factory starter that was fully functioning we didn’t know about. The tech didn’t mention it. So now we have a non-working aftermarket that I don’t need. I called several times and explained this to multiple people. Finally I’m told we can get it out but essentially I have to pay to do it because the install fee is non-refundable and was built into the price. The product description doesn’t specify the fee is included in the price of the item. So now I’ve basically paid to return a product I never would’ve purchased in the first place had I known. This will be the last item I ever buy from Best Buy.

Installation is not included. I was told I would have to purchase the installation package and would be able to get a refund the day of the installation. That was a lie, so I just returned everything.

Product does not fit my vehicle although it is listed on the box

It sucks just like the alarm system doesn’t even work properly I don’t even think it’s working at all I’m taking it back and having it taken out because I don’t even think the alarm system works or does the gadget that goes with the alarm so no I’m not happy with the whole thing at all

it sure does not work at a 1/2 mile, it may work better with the extra cost deluxe remotes

Viper remote start works 3 feet from my truck taking back to shop to have fixed .

Not installed yet, scheduled for install next week, schedule online was difficult, called directly

Received this remote start for Christmas. Best gift ever. haven't got max range dialed in yet, but easy to use.

Rude service. I had Viper remote installed at Jordan's Landing in July and still haven't been able to get the phone app to work. I was never given instructions or even a receipt. Very poor impression and a kid tech needs training on customer service.

I recently purchased this system and it came with a remote start that only works within a few feet from the car. The Bluetooth also only works within 10 feet from the car only, not within 150 as Viper describes. I was on the phone for four hours with Best Buy reps and had to take another day off work to see what was the issue. The tech at best buy informed me that I needed to buy a two-way remote Viper 2-Way Remote Control Model 7756V for the system to work well. I had to spend $195 extra. I would not recommend this headaches.

It’s ok I had Best Buy install it but it’s been giving me issues from time to time

The customer service representative had no knowledge of the product. When i came to have the item installed, i was told it was not the correct item and that there was not a item for my vehicle.

It was not compatible with my car and the range is not great

Has worked great! Very good range for a receiver. Wish remote was a two way but that is an upgrade option.
