I tried to call and talk to someone before I set up an appointment to install the device. I waited for 20 minutes no one picked up so I schedule an appointment online. When I get to the store I was told the starter did not work with my car.

The starter doesn’t start on the initial press of the button. The button on the remote is to small.

Absolutely horrible purchase and all around experience with this item and Best Buy! Best Buy apparently couldn’t install this item in my 2014 F150 and completely destroyed the wiring in my vehicle. Not knowing my husband is an ASE certified mechanic, they blatantly lied and gave some crappy excuse about his “brakes” bring the cause. Bought husband and different one from different company and he installed it himself in less than two hours.

Like the product but, the installation process has been a headache. Very unfriendly and not willing to help. I understand that there is wait to have something installed after Christmas but, not even willing to call me if there is a cancellation is just bad.

I was worried about is being a entry level starter. No complaints it works great.

Not impressed. It starts when it wants. I go outside on break and it's already started like it starts by itself I'm going to see if they can fix it because I can't deal with that I can't get the app working

Although this “works” I have noticed my car automatically starts randomly. I am regretting getting this installed at Best Buy. I should have gone to my car dealerships

I have been waiting weeks for this. I got one starter and no one knows where the other one is. I am very very upset!

They advertise 150 foot range for the Bluetooth app. Does not come close, even a Best Buy employee told me after I called to ask for help that the real range is about 40 feet max. It does start the car but the range is not good. Cheaper options out there that do just as good of a job

The starter is a simple remote but works great and have not had any issues.

Been over 2 months since I purchased this remote start and Best Buy keep losing my appointment and or cancels on me on the day of my aapointment. Nothing like driving over an hour just to be told sorry we cant do your install today. This has happened at 2 seperate locations. Do better best buy!

Had this installed on my truck, I love it works great and easy to use!

I purchased it on Black Friday special with the installation included and I had to make an appointment after I got the remote start in and still cannot get it installed.. I have an appointment at another best buy that's 2 hours away because the store and Cape Girardeau Missouri does not have someone that can install it. Trying to contact Best Buy's customer service was one of the worst experiences I've had the people at their home office don't want to talk to me don't want to help couldn't understand what I was trying to say and left me the impression that did not care I still plan to have them install it whenever they can get around to it someday but I may give up and have to get a refund and get it done somewhere else not sure yet just wish they cared..

Works great for those hot summer days and those cold winter mornings.

it was great till the cheap remote broke and had to get a new one from viper and no install said it would be easyb to pair it was nightmare

Installation done wrong or the wrong progam installed. Does not work, and Best Buy has yet to contact me about solving this issue. Can’t get through to store online, talked to a customer service representative and still got no where. 0/10

Remote start from remote button sold with package is not working it will start when using the keyfob. Very Little info included with instructions i now Have fear of being locked out of my car
