it sure does not work at a 1/2 mile, it may work better with the extra cost deluxe remotes

It sucks just like the alarm system doesn’t even work properly I don’t even think it’s working at all I’m taking it back and having it taken out because I don’t even think the alarm system works or does the gadget that goes with the alarm so no I’m not happy with the whole thing at all

Viper remote start works 3 feet from my truck taking back to shop to have fixed .

Received this remote start for Christmas. Best gift ever. haven't got max range dialed in yet, but easy to use.

I recently purchased this system and it came with a remote start that only works within a few feet from the car. The Bluetooth also only works within 10 feet from the car only, not within 150 as Viper describes. I was on the phone for four hours with Best Buy reps and had to take another day off work to see what was the issue. The tech at best buy informed me that I needed to buy a two-way remote Viper 2-Way Remote Control Model 7756V for the system to work well. I had to spend $195 extra. I would not recommend this headaches.

It was not compatible with my car and the range is not great

Has worked great! Very good range for a receiver. Wish remote was a two way but that is an upgrade option.

I love it for those cold mornings that you don’t want to go outside just to turn your car on before work.

My bro installed it which turned out fine but u still need them to program the software to match the model of ur vehicle. Brought my car into Bestbuy and once they programmed it everything worked. Bluetooth to phone was easy connect too once I figured it out (hold down the valet switch on device)

The item probably works fine but i cant get mine to work ... the bestbuy team was extremely helpful like always but they can only do so much regarding vipers product . Viper CS in the other hand has been the worst i have ever experienced ....the site keeps locking on me ... i cant get a service plan for the smart start modules ... im extremely dissapointed not by best buy but viper ...will never buy this crap again

So disappointed i got it and it stopped working after a week, i went back the technician looked at it and fix it and 2 days later it stopped working again so im scheduled to jave it removed from my car.

The tech didn't install the alarm correctly.. After numerous attempts they couldn't get the alarm to notice all doors when closed. Then they snatched the alarm out when I ask uninstall. Ending up messing up my dome lights. I will never go to Orange park Jax fl location ever again..they arent to bright

Installation is not included. I was told I would have to purchase the installation package and would be able to get a refund the day of the installation. That was a lie, so I just returned everything.

At this point I’m highly disappointed. I can stand right by my car and it won’t even start it. It’s rated for half a mile but it won’t even start a half a foot away. For over $300 dollars I want it to work better then that.

Rude service. I had Viper remote installed at Jordan's Landing in July and still haven't been able to get the phone app to work. I was never given instructions or even a receipt. Very poor impression and a kid tech needs training on customer service.

Not as long of a range as I excepted. Need to spend more money to receive longer range

We were told it would fit our vehicle. Dau before we had installation appt we were called and told they were still looking for piece for installation and they would call us back. No call back. Went back to the store the next day and was informed the alarm would work on the truck. Gave us back a giftcard after I paid with a debit card. We shouldn't have had to wait almost a month to be told this. I'm not satisfied!

You can not tell when it starts and it only works half the time
