My wife loves her new remote start. Viper make a great reliable product. I strongly recommend it.

So disappointed i got it and it stopped working after a week, i went back the technician looked at it and fix it and 2 days later it stopped working again so im scheduled to jave it removed from my car.

Not as long of a range as I excepted. Need to spend more money to receive longer range

Installation is not included. I was told I would have to purchase the installation package and would be able to get a refund the day of the installation. That was a lie, so I just returned everything.

You can not tell when it starts and it only works half the time

We were told it would fit our vehicle. Dau before we had installation appt we were called and told they were still looking for piece for installation and they would call us back. No call back. Went back to the store the next day and was informed the alarm would work on the truck. Gave us back a giftcard after I paid with a debit card. We shouldn't have had to wait almost a month to be told this. I'm not satisfied!

It’s ok I had Best Buy install it but it’s been giving me issues from time to time

Bestbuy did HORRIBLE job on installation. Didn't even give me the BOX, parts,etc. leftover after install !!! Product is okay but App did NOT work !!!

Rude service. I had Viper remote installed at Jordan's Landing in July and still haven't been able to get the phone app to work. I was never given instructions or even a receipt. Very poor impression and a kid tech needs training on customer service.

This remote start doesn't not work even 10 ft away. I literally have to be able to see my car in a 5 ft distance for it to start. Love the idea and wish it worked. Bluetooth mode is weak. Not buying extra parts and a monthly subscription to get to work as it was promised.

Box says the range is 150 feet. You’ll be lucky to get 20 feet. It’s range is thru Bluetooth it’s terrible. You either need to upgrade the module and pay a subscription fee or buy a new remote for $100+

The customer service representative had no knowledge of the product. When i came to have the item installed, i was told it was not the correct item and that there was not a item for my vehicle.

Got this installed for my accord. Bestbuy technician was excellent for installation. No problem at all. But the quality of this remote is very flimsy. It broke after a month. I contacted the support about the warranty many times already. NO REPLY AT ALL.

Remote already broken ...needed to get replacement

The remote start unit was not compatible with my daughters vehicle. But on a bright note Best Buy refunded the entire purchase a year later onto a beat buy gift card.

Stay away if you are a DIY'er. The kit does not come with the main harness required to actually install it. You have to buy the T-harness separate. They do this to encourage you to use their installation service, which is included, however the wait in my area is 3 months long. If you want to do your own install, stay away from this one!

I was worried about is being a entry level starter. No complaints it works great.

Installed by Best Buy on 12/12/23. Stopped working on 1/11/24. No support from Viper, must go through Best Buy. Location who did install will not return calls. I would not recommend to anyone.

I tried to call and talk to someone before I set up an appointment to install the device. I waited for 20 minutes no one picked up so I schedule an appointment online. When I get to the store I was told the starter did not work with my car.
