I absolutely love my remote start! I can’t believe I didn’t get one sooner! It was easy to schedule the installation and the installation took 2 and a half hours as estimated when I dropped my car off. Would definitely recommend buying this through Best Buy!

The quality of the product was awesome, and the remote start works great! Best Buy was very professional and knowledgeable in installing the product and no more waiting for car to warm up. Also now has GPS equipped with phone application. Thank you!!

Works well, could never get the app on my phone to work properly but other than that I have no complaints. Got in installed in store with no issues

First Off I would like to say best buy is a wonderful company and I stand by them and my review does not reflect the company in any way. One of the biggest problems with this product is how it is advertised. Some things you should know... The Smartphone app can only be used UP TO 150 feet meaning once its buried under the dashboard the connection gets a bit spoty by the time your inside you house. This app also only starts and stops your vehicle , the temperature displayed on the box is based on your phone location while the temperature sensor provided is used for other behind the scenes things. Lastly if you still like having the option despite the downsides the basic remote it comes with is not easy to press and for older people may make it very difficult to use. Personally one thing I have noticed with these remote starts is the majority of the time when the battery is disconnected for an hour or more the remotes become unpaired. Normally this wouldn't be too bad of a problem as the lifetime installation warranty offered covers this but its a somewhat long process and I wouldn't want to return to best buy every time I get my car serviced. As with anything always talk with the professionals and get their opinions. The DS4 does make for the best budget solution to a smart phone but maybe you'd be happier with something else.

Installed in October of 2020. Worked fine for about a year. Now the module itself is dead or has a blown fuse. Of course when it gets cold out. I don't have all day to wait on the phone for Best Buy support, and of course I can schedule a time to be there when it's inconvenient for me. I tried to look under the dash for the module itself to see if there was a blown fuse, but I'm not sure where they put it. Bottom line, the Viper should have lasted longer than a year, and getting service from Best Buy is a pain in the butt. I'll probably have a local installer put in a Code Alarm, I had one in my 2015 and that one seemed more intuitive and it has lasted the entire time. Bottom line, I'd skip the Viper, and probably let a local car stereo guy do it next time.

I bought it for my husband and he absolutely loves it.

Its been working great in my Honda Crv (2008). It was a great deal and works from a lot farther away than i expected it to. The guys who installed it were super friendly and helpful too.

The installer was great, it was a birthday present for my wife’s car, she really loves it!!

I like my remote start. What I dislike about it is every time I start my car the alarm goes off.

5 yrs strong and it still works like a dream. The remote broke, and its difficult to get a new one, but the app works just fine to start it.

I had this recently installed at Best Buy. The functionality is better than I expected as I didn’t realize that it would work with my OEM key fob. The install service at Best Buy was great as well. I only have two complaints: 1. I still haven’t been able to get the app to connect to the module. 2. There is not as loud of a honk from my car to confirm it has started as I’ve had with other cars with remote starters. I’m not sure if this is a Viper issue or just my particular car (Subaru Outback), but it would be nice to have more discernible confirmation when I can’t see the car as I’m starting it.

Good value. Installation location was far away. Best Buy should add more installation locations.
