Works great no more cold cars best thing I got yet

Was a Christmas gift. Loved it at first, not it sucks. The remote is absolute garbage. I don’t know if I got a defective one or not, I emailed Viper about this problem still waiting on a reply email. I have to change the battery every two weeks. Sometimes it won’t lock or unlock it’ll just blink where I gotta stand in the rain and wait for the truck to unlock it. From my current experience I say get something better, don’t go cheap.

If I install it on my Toyota rav4, the car’s garanty woll maintain?

Works great. The only thing is the remote fobs break everytime.plastic is thin where it slides onto a key chain. Company should make that part metal.

Difficult to operate. Sometimes it cuts off the engine when I get in the car and I don't know if I am using it wrong

Very happy with the remote. The instructions for the app could be better. I was lucky to have a great installation technician. He help with getting the app working.

The button is very hard. I got this for my daughter’s car but she can’t started it yet. I have to start it for her and I know it not easy. Another sad thing is after I installed it 2 weeks ;price was dropped $60

Love it! But sometimes we have to go to a window to get it to reach the truck it seems.

It says on the box 1/2 reach and is not even close , I did some testing with the '"remote fob” and the farther it goes is maybe a 1/2 a block and not to mention the Bluetooth App you have to be next to the car for that to work. so a little misleading on Vipers part ... price should be less than $199 . I’ll say $129 instead. Other than that it does the job I won’t freeze to death this winter ... Allentown, PA

The packaging is misleading. This unit does not come with Smart Start, nor is the bluetooth option viable. The bluetooth connection is mostly used by technicians for updating and troubleshooting. The remote that comes inside the package is very poor quality. It will likely wear out in the first year of use if it makes it that far. It's also not very reliable, just ask the installers. Do yourself a favor and purchase a Compustar remote starter instead.

Had this product for over a year and a half. Still works perfect

I had this installed in my 2011 Odyssey on 21st Nov 2016. Worked that day, was very excited about it. Next day after work I tried to start my van with the remote it didn't work, even at close range. The car lights flash but won't start the car. Thought it was my car battery since it had started showing low battery. Changed my car battery but then even the flashing stopped since it was reset. I called bestbuy to set up an appointment and was told I have to wait 4 weeks to be seen eventhough it only worked for a day. Then I called their corporate office and they told me to take the van to best buy without an appoinment. The mechanic is super helpful and nice, who reset the whole setup and it started working agian. That night, I had to park in my driveway but was not worried since it was fixed. Next morning tried to start the van from my door, the lights flashed and I thought it was all set. Got to the van after 10 minutes to see that it never started. Tried using the remote again and the van just flashes its lights never starts. Now best buy needs another 4-5 weeks before they could see my car. I MIGHT BE ABLE TO USE THIS 4 -5 TIMES THIS WINTER,IF THE SAME PATTERN CONTINUES WHICH IS NOT WHAT I WAS HOPPING FOR. BESTBUY SHOULD ATLEAST MAKE SURE THAT CUSTOMERS CAN USE THIS SERVICE AT LEAST ONE WINTER WITOUT ISSUES.

Bestbuy technician tried to install this for 4 hours and couldnt make it to work . So i left my vehicle that day and took taxi home. Next day also technician couldnt make it to work . I have 2015 oddysse touring elite. This particular remote starter didnt work. The alarm is getting activated when engine was started. Finally rolled back everything and returned the remote starter.

This is the second time I’ve ordered something and it’s been delivered the same day. That’s highly impressive!
