    I purchased this for my fiancé as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, it never worked. I told him to bring it back, but we didn’t have time in our schedule. Very disappointed.

    The app for this product sucks. I have had to email them 4 times because of it. Passwords are saved on my phone and it works for a few weeks then quits. They refule to answer. Dont wast your money.

    Best Buy's customer service not the best

    The item may be very nice, but I returned it the day I bought it because Best Buy sold it to me in Parker CO and sent me for installation a half hour's drive to Aurora CO where I was told that I'd have to go home and wait weeks for an appointment. Why couldn't Parker have called Aurora for that info and saved me a lot of time?

    Need a troubleshooter!

    My installer was great but it only has worked ONE TIME since I got it and I have attempted to contact the installer as he said to let him know of ANYTHING that goes wrong and keep getting corporate. SOOO unless I go to the store during open hours - I cannot use it. Hoping to get there sometime soon.

    install was fine. problem is for the smartstart system it cost an additional $100 per yr or $300 3 yrs. now 4+ yrs later need a new module to upgrage to 5g network and have to pay for installation again. i would skip this system altogether not cost effective

    so far i cannot give a fair review as this system is not working. the Geek Squad either did not put it in correct, or mainly they never showed us how to operate the remote; therefore I am very disappointed with the whole system.

    I'm not sure if the problem is with the product or the installation, which was included in the price. The back hatch of my car won't open with a key fob. Now i have to get someone else to fix this. I'll be asking for a refund

    Doesn’t work. Has about a 10 foot range and that’s it. It was installed 5 days ago and has worked twice. Have to be directly in front of my vehicle. Store won’t help, keep getting excuses and runaround. Won’t refund, won’t troubleshoot, just making excuses. Don’t waste your money.

    Bought this because the best buy web site said it would be compatible with my car. It isn't. Tried to talk to install dept at several best buys and no response. Tried in store to talk to someone, good luck!

    Website says 1hr/30min - was told 4 hrs to install upon arrival Told I needed another part - I am not sure why this would not have been mentioned when I purchased the remote starter. Typical big box store.

    Did not turn on heat or defrost, only started engine. (2016 Honda CRV). Customer service or the tech who installed (and uninstalled) was excellent though and I got a refund.

    I purchased this remote starter only to wait week to get it installed and when I showed up for my appointment the van would not fit in the garage so it never got installed. I came over 50 miles one way only to be told they could not help me.

    2 wires were missing. Had to wait to get an appointment with a mechanic,in February so didn't notice until then,wouldnt do a trade in as it was not within the return period.

    They are supposed to send you the harness as well when you order. But they don’t! I got this as a Christmas present and made the appointment for two days after Christmas when we got to the install area they asked for the harness too, bestbuy online does not tell you that you need this also, apparently in store they force you to buy it but online they don’t! So mad they didn’t have it in the store so I had to postpone the installation.

    Had the geeks install,great job,installed in Jan 2018, worked good for the winter,parked car for the summer,come the cold,no start,geeks says fob junk,call for warranty, pretty much say it's my prob,buy new one.good warranty
