She has the little remote on her keys, and i use the app from my phone if i need to turn it on. So nice to have heat or AC on before getting to the car. Range/connection from phone app is lower, so i have to open the front door to get it to remote start the car. No big deal.

It does what I need it to do. I got this particular one for the app starting feature. Sadly that part of it doesn’t work. You basically have to be within 20 feet to use the app.

Replaced with different unit

They did advise me that they had issues with this one drawing off the battery due to the bluetooth capability. My daughter was not going to use her phone to start car so replaced with non-bluetooth enabled one. She loves that one. Unit may be good but in cold New England weather did not want her dealing with a dead battery searching for bluetooth signal she will never use.

good starter

Had an issue with a part being on back order but once it came in got the unit installed quickly and it works great. Wish it was a 2 way remote included but so far no issues with the unit starting from a distance.
