I think it's the best thing to have especially if you live in the Northeast. It is so nice to start my car in the morning before work and get in when it's nice and warm

Performs great, makes cold nights no worry about warming up the car

Does the job but I hate that it honks so often. Especially late at night when I get home and folks are asleep. I also dont like it comes with just one fob. Be better to have a backup in case the first one fails or gets lost.

The single button remote is small and easy to use. Functions flawlessly.

I am very unsatisfied with the purchase and customer service of this store. I ordered a remote start online. The 1800 service person was helpful. When I went to pick up the remote start it was no where to be found. After a 38 minute wait it was found. I drove to the back of the store and waited outside in the rain and frigid temps for someone to open the service bay area. I drove back around to the front of the store to ask someone to get someone to receive my CUV. No one said they were sorry, kick rocks or anything. Meanwhile my neighbor waited 68 minutes total for me to drop off the car. When I arrived to pick up my CUV the installer was gone before 6:00; none of the packaging materials or directions were left in my vehicle. No one could find my key. No instructions were given to me. I had to go to Youtube. The device never worked properly. We had an ice storm. The remote start drained my battery while not in use. I had 3 AAA service calls for a jump start in less than one week. I only get 5 per year with my plan. My vehicle had under 27k miles. I was told by Justin my battery was old and could not support the device. I had the installer to disable the device. My battery was tested 3x and passed avery test by AAA. I am suing Best Buy

I actually bought a compustar (RS 1B-AL) car starter. The tech said that I needed another part for the viper and it would cost more money. I switched to the compustar and saved about 50 bucks. This unit works just fine. Took 2.5 hrs to install.

excellent item, works great! although I have to upgrade due to the range for starting up at work or at the store in the checkout lane. other than that it works great. it runs with auto shutoff. small button that hooks to your keyring unless you choose the other option.

Very reasonable priced fast install installation. We definitely buy one again.

The Viper Remote Starter has operated as expected, and overall I am very happy with it. The only downside is that on my Toyota model, the car shuts off when I touch the door handle to enter the car. If it wasn't for that, I would have given it 5 stars

This system has worked really well for us. Easy to use and compact remote. Plus having the app is a huge plus and gets used the most when starting. No negatives at all I would recommend this to anyone

Had a remote start in my last car so did my research and decided on the Viper SmartStart for my new car. It uses Bluetooth when using the Viper App & came with a keyfob when your phone is not handy. Great to be able to start the car in cold icy conditions or when it’s 100° outside. This is my 2nd Viper Remote Start & highly recommend for your car.

Geek Squad Auto Techs did an EXCELLENT job installing the Viper DS4+ Remote Starter in my wife's new 2020 Honda CR-V LX AWD! Tho was relatively difficult to use from the start, now my wife is used to it now!
