So it's not as helpful as I wanted it to be for having a warm car when getting off work.

Not great for newer cars

But if you have a newer car with a keyless start/ push button start, the car shuts off when you open the door. Meaning you have to restart the car every time. There is no way around this, it’s a fail safe with the cars. Had I known I would not have one installed
