Not bad remote starter, has a good range, gets the job done

the viper remote car starter works great , no problems .

The person at the store helped me select the perfect system compatible with my vehicle. The installer did an amazing job and was extremely helpful installing the system even though there had been a mistake in setting up the appointment and the install was going to take longer than he was originally allotted.

Good no frills remote start. Everything needed to install was in the box. No extra fees. One simple remote. Simple and easy! Only one remote in the box, even though it showed two. Purchased an extra remote for $20. A fee came into play to sinc new remote.

Easy to operate and very good stuff for winter season.

I only have one issue with this product, if you are a distance away and you do not have a clear path to your car the remote start will not work. If you are close with obstructions it will start. Is why I gave it 4 stars

This unit has worked great so far and I am very impressed by the distance from which it works.

... But a little confusing, because I have keyless entry and keyless ignition... There's a certain sequence that you must unlock the doors, push the brake, drive off... But this only works if you've started an already-locked vehicle...

It ha trouble starting 100 feet away. Letvalone a 1000. Not worth it. I suggest putting little extra money in it and getting a better quality one.

I bought the "Best Buy Bundle"....the installaion was completed by a Tech person that damaged our car. NEVER COMING BACK

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but the remote starter turns off after 2 minutes. and the range for the remote fob is less than 150 with no other objects such a walls or building in the way.

Normally not the complaining type, this just wasn't acceptable. It was a gift. I had read fine print from other complaints that there was additional parts he would be charged and I was prepared to cover those cost but clearly on the box it states on a black sticker that seals the box, installation and interface module included. Normally priced at 249.99 plus tax, day after Thanksgiving I purchased for 199.99 plus tax. Now after Christmas its 139.99 plus tax. At first $102.68 was withdrawn from my account and about a week and half later $115.81 was withdrawn. They said reason being that they withdrawal half to make sure it clears then once shipped they withdrawal the rest. My boyfriend called to schedule the install after trying two days to call and the first day after calling 4-5 times and setting on hold for 15-20 minutes each time and was told the first opening wasn't till after January and for his vehicle model there is an additional $195 PLUS tax for parts not included. He proceeded to ask what additional parts was he being charged for and one was INTERFACE MODULE $100, HOOD SAFETY PIN $8 and LABOR $80 PLUS TAX ON ALL. ALL which are already in the box. So they were going to charge for installation calling it labor, charging for the interface already in the box, the safety hood pin already in the box! After hearing that we decided to return it and call a local audio store to find it bought and installed for $327 tax and ALL. Went to the store to return the system and was refunded $102.68, I asked were the rest of the funds were and she had to call corporate, come to find out the other $115.81 they finally refunded me was described as installation and safety feature on the receipts. Thats the real reason it was deducted from my account on two different times. If he would have taken this back without me and it being a gift they would have got $115.81 free and my boyfriend wouldn't have known it because it was a gift. Would I recommend this product, not really sure because the part keeping me from knowing is the fact of the company taking advantage and trying to charge customers twice. Not good customer service

This product works just fine I just hate the fact that you cannot unlock your car with the normal remote key while it is started, you have to press the remote start again to unlock the car.

Love the convenience it gives my wife to cool or warm her SUV. But wish we would've jumped to a better model which controlled locks as well!

Works as it should, geek squad did the install in a timely manner, without any issues, I would definitely recommend this, if you are in the market for remote start

No more getting into a suffocating car in the summer or a freezing car in the winter. What would make it better is if the remote would reach further. But never the less t works.

Because of an error on Best Buy website I had to return this before installation because it would not work on my car.

It has a longer remote distance. I like that it starts & unlocks doors in stages; push the button twice, it unlocks, push twice more, unlocks drivers door, 2x's more & unlocks the rest of the doors. I like that for safety reasons.

Its was supposed to be 110.00 for starter and install. I payed another 130 for alarm. The price was amazing and I couldn't help but add it because they did price match. BUT I would not do business with this store. I purchased this during Christmas and added an alarm system to this. My husband went there after waiting a month to install and they only installed the car starter. They told my husband I only purchased the starter but when you look on the online receipt you see the 110.00 was for starter and install and the associate added a sku for the alarm of 130.00. They sent my husband off telling him it would have been a lot more money if I added an alarm. Meanwhile I called the 800 number and they are useless with giving me a refund for a product that my husband did not get installed in his car. They agreed that I purchased 110.00 for starter and install. And that they needed to install the alarm. I told them I just wanted my money back which they explained I had to return to the store. The same store that said I never purchased the alarm. Real helpful.

It does exactly what they said it would. Installation was a bit shaky. It took 5 hrs and the communication was very bad from the install team.
