Bought as present for my wife but even after waiting at the store for hours they were never able to make it work.

has had to be taken back to best buy on multiple occasions for repair and still doesnt work

Can't get it installed in my area only place I found would do it was at the best buy in Indiana that's to far to go

Purchased for christmas... installed for less than 30 days...now it does that work..

The installation by Best Buy was professional, as was the explanation as to how to operate it. I've been using it for about a week without any issues. There are no bells & whistles on this unit, but I didn't need any. Their installer told me it has a lifetime warranty, including the installation, which I was unaware of.

Product works 75% of time, the only time it does not consistently work with my vehicle is when it is very cold outside. Luckily I do not live in an area where there is frequent snow. During the times it does work, it takes between 1 and 3 attempts to start. The button could be programmed to perform another car function after it is first depressed to start the engine, like open powerlock doors or windows, sound the horn, or turn on the lights, or open the trunk if it is connected to the electronic car chip. I had mainly purchased the product to warm up the car on a cool day, so I leave the heater dial to on position before I exit the vehicle.

We live in Missouri where the summers are hot and very humid. Having a remote start is a lifesaver some days. This remote has good range and works well. The FOB is small and convenient to carry.

Geek squad did a great job on my remote starter. They had the vehicle overnight. Went over the product when I picked the car up. Good people to deal with.

My star rating is based on two things....a) on the product.....I have Toyota Sienna. I bought this product online and went to store to pick-up/schedule appointment for installation. To my surprise, store folks told me that I will have to buy additional $200 worth of kit. Even with that, I will have 2 remotes, One that comes with the vehicle and another one just to remote start (this product).....Sure no one like to carry two remote in their key chain. I ended up walked away not picking up the product b) How is being sold....On the Best Buy site, the product is sold with GeekSqad installation as "Free". But in the invoice, BB will split the dollar for some kit $88, some email instruction $22 etc. Neither I picked up the product, not I used the installation. When my order was cancelled, I received only partial refund.. only for the product. Nothing returned back for those GeekSqad charges ...until I called Best Buy. Best Buy system is broken when they have to refund product sold with after services. (e.g. When I cancel my refrigerator order before it was delivered, I would expect the delivery charges refunded automatically, and not expecting me to call back to get that refunded)

Our vehicle has key-less entry/start. Although this device will start the vehicle, and can unlock the vehicle, the vehicle always turns off the second a door is opened causing the driver to have to re-start the vehicle. Not a huge deal, but I wouldn't have purchased this had I known that.

Now my wife can start her Pilot from inside her work and it's nice and warm. Great gift idea! If it's works this well here in Missouri's cold winter, excited to see what it will be like in the 100 plus summers. The installer at the Gravois Bluffs location was very helpful talking time to explain everything and was very quick.

Haven't gotten it installed yet, but it came highly recommended.

I love my remote start. Its so helpful to have especially when winter rolls around. It's gonna be nice.

Had my remote starter for a week after it was installed by GeekSquad on my 2014 Tacoma. Two issues came up immediately. One is not being able to start the truck on first try. 90% of the time it has to crank again the second time to actually start and this is in 70 degree weather on a fresh battery. Second issue which is probably more serious, on certain occasions when remote start is used vehicle makes a loud whine like noise for about 5 second after starting and immediately shuts it self off. Seeing this happening on my new truck is pretty disheartening specially after putting trust in Best Buy for all my electronic needs. Scheduled appointment to go back and see about resolving the issue. Not very optimistic. Will update.
