I recently had this Viper Smart Start module installed in my Honda CRV. And it has been an absolute charm so far. Not ONE PROBLEM With the installation. Jim is simply the best!!! not to take away from others who install it, but the system on my previous vehicle a Nissan Rogue - ran into problems from day one. would not start. drain battery etc. But as it turned out it was the battery not the remote start. So Now not only do i have a physical key fob to start the car - and it has a really good coverage all the way to the end of a huge parking lot from inside a building BUT ALSO across from anywhere literally - when i start it with my ONLINE app that uses any kind of internet to start/stop the car and lock/unlock doors and a Panic button. In a nutshell, a must have for these ridiculously long winters we have in Michigan. Oh to get into a car that is already warmed up with nice heated seats!!! Highly recommend this unit with the internet module and also to Get this installed at Best Buy (Okemos Location). In my opinion, I think this is the best price you can get.

Sprung for the Smart Start packaged with a basic one way remote start package. This allows you to have an infinite range and two way response as long as you have cell service. Highly recommend professional installation. I used the Geek Squad Auto Tech person at a local Best Buy. You do have to purchase an annual or 3 year (best deal) subscription to use Smart Start since it's like a cell service plan. Awesome...can start the vehicle from anywhere from my iPhone!

Great concept and it works flawlessly. I don't carry keys anymore and I just leave them locked in my car. I have yet to have needed to remote start my car from China yet but I am sure it would work. I have however unlocked my car from across the state so my wife could get in. Now she has the app on her phone as well.

With this additional part, I was able to stick with the least expensive, simplest model remote starter and still have the range I needed. I can start my car before I leave the building at work, and the app lets me know it's running even though the garage is a block and a half away.

I love being able to check the status of my car alarm from my iPhone! The ability to get text messages and alerts when the alarm goes off is awesome! Thanks to Jeff at the Northglenn, CO for the super professional install and great customer service! This guy know his stuff!

Straight forward installation. BBW extra installation charges apply when not installed with new alarm brain installation + there is a MRC for the service. Great Product overall; and stellar Geek Squad Installation.

It's a big treat getting into a nice warm car when it's freezing outside! One of the best purchases we've ever made.It will also be great this summer to come out to a nice cool car. Well worth the money. Thumbs way up!

I love this product because I never have to fumble for my keys to open or even start my car. The app is ready and right there on my phone which is always in my hands. Extremely happy with this product!!

If you have a Viper remote start system, you NEED this addon. It really makes the whole package, I would not have had a Viper installed if this wasn't available. The rumor is that a new app update is coming soon that will add Android Wear compatibility, which I'm looking forward to now, but I haven't had any issues with the app as of yet. Also keep in mind that you have to pay a $70/year subscription to enable this service, on top of the cost of the product and the install, but thankfully my local Best Buy was able to warn me about this before I purchased.

This product has made my life easier... By making my wife's life easier. By pairing this with an entry level viper starter, I was able to get two way communication to the vehicle, and unlimited range.

I love this add on to my vehicle. The app works great, only downfall is the subscription but if you go for the 3 year, it's a better value. Worth it!

I purchased this remote start/alarm system for my 2005 chevy silverado duramax. It works exactly as intended. Love the customizable features. Was able to program heated seats to come on when temp is below 40 degrees. Nice function for an older truck!!

This security system is amazing. Started my car from a quarter mile away.

I can start my car from the bronx while its in brooklyn. Its always warm or cold and that makes me happy. The range is compared to none. Its particularly convenient when i park 3 blocks away where a regular remote start wont reach.

I love being able to start my car from my phone My key chain start is to far away for me to start my car when I leave work so I had to wait until I got outside my building before I could start my car now I just hit my phone and my car cozy and warm after getting this module installed

It's by far the best car starter we have ever had! It started our car when we were in Florida and our car was in Kansas City. Came back to a car that had no snow and ice on it unlike everyone else's. It's a great starter and I will have one on every car I own from now on!

There really can't be a more convenient security system for my truck. Lock your keys in your truck by mistake.... I did and there was no problem. I merely pulled out my phone and unlocked it. Being that I've got an iPhone , I could have just as well used my iPad . That is what convenience is all about. To me that is the greatest thing since sliced bread. LOL

This is the cats pajamas so to speak. It's a must for convenience and peace of mind. Going to put one in my wife's car.

I was able to start my car in the garage from my kitchen table using my Android smartphone. I got a message within 30 seconds that the car had received the signal. It took a minute or two for the signal to actually start the car...but it works. This is great given the Polar Vortex Chicago is in right now.
