Not real happy with this purchase. Apps will stop right before they fully open and vibration setting doesn't always go off when there's a text message. Great camera, etc, but just some minor things that are a bit irritating.

    Good Solid Phone

I was attracted to the phone because of its large screen size. For a phone in this price range you wont find a larger screen. Ive had very little problems with it. The only real issues were the camera. Its auto-focus seems to be broken. The first pic you take will focus fine. try it a second time and it refuses to do anything thereby necessitating one to shut off the camera and restart it. I installed a 32gb mini mem card so the small default memory is not an issue. Other than the aforementioned issues Im quite happy with the Stylo.

    Fair mid-priced Smart Phone.

If you are not taking a lot of pictures, or downloading a lot of apps, this is a pretty nifty smart phone. That being said, if you do want to snap endless photos, and have a variety of apps, you may want to purchase a phone with a bit more than 8 gigs of internal storage. This comes with a lot of standard Google bloatware, that you cannot delete or move to your SD card.

    Loses text messages

I'm guessing most of these reviews are from people who haven't had this phone very long. It's a nice phone but it has a couple of huge flaws. It frequently fails to notify of an incoming text message. Even worse, it occasionally loses the text message entirely. I had this happen at least twice with the person who sent me the text showing it to me on their phone. If you read the reviews on the VM site, you'll see that this is a very common problem for this phone. As far as I'm concerned, this makes the phone worse than useless. They really should either fix the issue or stop selling this phone entirely.

    Good camera, bad phone

The camera and the screen size are the only good things about this phone. I had the phone 2 months and I had to replace it because the screen was going out and now about another 2 months later I am having issues with my screen going out on the new one. The operating system is very slow it takes a long time to load your apps and if you're on an app to long it will shut the app down. Sometimes the phone itself will reboot on its own. It constantly rejects my micro sd card. Its not worth the money, you are better off spending the money on a better phone because you will have to pay to replace or fix this one.

The keyboard always disappears, bad camera, apps close all the time-all the fun problems you'll encounter with this cheap-o phone. Like most Virgin Mobile pre-paids, you're not working with quality. The processor is far too weak to run like most smart phones of today. While not as terrible as most of the Virgin Mobile phones I've encountered in the past, I would assume that the first phone I'd pay over $100 for (at the time) would be better than pre-paids I've paid $40 for. But no, you minus well get a cheaper Virgin Mobile phone, because the extra $50 won't be going into better quality.

Got this phone as a birthday present. It's been horrible since day one. The internal memory filled up in a couple months. It's terribly slow. It constantly freezes. When playing a game, if you get a phone call, the game restarts.. Every. Single. Time. The camera is low quality. Just an overall bad phone. Spend a couple extra bucks and upgrade.

Totally sufficient for my limited needs. Nice size screen. Any bigger would be too big. The pay as you go Virgin plan makes it far less expensive than the contract phones.

This phone is really good with its stylus pressure as well as its overall size and thickness. However, the actual speed at which the phone process leaves much to be desired as it will occasionally force close apps or even just hard reboot it self after some intense use. I do enjoy the phone but it can be frustrating from time to time.

I hate this cellphone, short battery life, text messages sometimes don't get sent or received, internet is slow, freezes and disconnects, carmera sucks it take horrible pics and phone turns itself on and off. I paid $129.99 back in January 2016, I purchased a 32G memory card, this LG G Stylo cell phone is still a waste of money.. Be happy buy yourself a Samsung.

The worst phone by far from Virgin mobile. All the apps crush/stop/freeze a LOT. In most cases I have to restart the phone to view my text messages. Specially, if the phone is plugged, its hard to do anything bc it keeps taking you back to the home screen or shut whatever is you are doing. I would've returned it but I was using my old phone and by the time i start using this one, its 14 day return date already expired. :(((((((

Phone doesn't keep charge, forget about text messages people won't receive yours and you won't receive theirs until 12 hours later..or they won't get the message at all.....try calling virgin about the issue they don't know know what's going on they transfet you to LG support who won't send you a new phone until the old one is sent first. Have been on the run around for almost 45 minutes now....

*Text messages not received. * The Bluetooth volume in car is very low. *Keyboard will not stay on screen without powering on/off. Saving up for a Galaxy, which I had before with another carrier... My friend has the same exact phone, has the same issues. Definitely is a problem with the phone, not the carrier as Best Buy associate suggested when I complained.
