Sometimes the sequel does not live up to original

Not happy with phone at all. I was unable to open back with ease. That is where the memory card goes. Plus the phone feels to lite and fragile...like if I held it to tight it would break. Returned the 3 I bought. Disappointed because I have the original and was looking forward to the upgrade.

    For $20 I couldn't pass

I give the tribute 2 a 3 star rating because I bought it new on cyber Monday for $20. Figured for $20 how can you go wrong. Always have a spare phone sitting around should something happen to one of the kids phones or whatever. I have tried this out for a couple weeks now and I don't mind it but I would NEVER recommend someone go out and pay $100 retail for it. I have used many different virgin phones and this one falls in the middle as expected. The camera stinks. The picture is nice however. This may be because I was using my htc 816 (5.5") screen and always have it set on "auto-brightness". The tribute 2 is a lot nicer than the original tribute in every aspect. Just don't expect a lot from this and you'll be fine. My galaxy 5s is a LOT nicer but it cost $500. So it all comes down to personal preference. I haven't had issues at all and the battery lasts a good amount of time. I would recommend this phone but not for more than $50.

I bought this phone is a replacement and found out it was not able to hold the apps that I wanted on the phone. The GPS didn't work correctly and generally was a cheap phone.

I had a terrible time trying to use this phone and had to return it. Best Buy graciously took the phone back and gave me a refund.

If you're looking for a phone to use to talk, surf the internet, message and play a few games, this phone will do the job. Given as a Christmas present and the recipient is very pleased with it. Working very good so far. Downloaded several apps with no problems. Can't beat the price for all that this phone offers.

Wow, great phone for the price! Decent memory at 8 gb. Under 20 bucks. Add a sd card and no issues. I like the LG reliability. Good screen, good battery time. I would buy it again!

Good phone - responsive Horrific camera out of the box - No autofocus - should be a std feature in all cameras - Grainy images with default app - pay for FV-5 and the camera takes significantly better photos -

Nice upgrade without taking a big chunk of money

I purchased this phone as an upgrade for my daughter of a elevate phone. And she absolutely loves it! She says it's super fast when switching apps, her camera quality is great, long battery life, and the touch screen is very responsible fast. The only thing that is "not normal" is the fact that the volume and "off/on" buttons are located on the back of the phone near the camera unlike the sides as all phones have. It's something that could be a deal breaker to a few people but my daughter got used to it within a few hours. She says it's actually more convenient to have them back there so she doesn't have to move her fingers in all directions when trying to lock the screen or while using the phone.

    Fast, but small screen

    Posted .

This is a great starter android phone. It's plenty fast and has enough memory. But the screen is pretty small, and it's made worse because the home/back/menu icons take up screen space, unlike older LG phones where they are physical buttons.

Pretty decent phone for what I paid for it

Overall this is a good little phone for what I paid for it on sale on Black Friday. The only real complaint that I have is that camera is of lesser quality than the two year old phone I was replacing with this uint. Since I only use the camera to take pictures to remind me of things (like the price of something in a store) the camera is good enough. It is still disappointing that it was at least as good as the unit it was replacing.

Back buttons take some getting used to

Good phone, not the fastest one out there or the one with the most memory, however, it is very good for the price. The back buttons do take some getting used to, but very natural after a little while.
