Customers are saying

Customers highly value the Moto G (3rd Generation)'s camera quality, battery life, ease of use, and screen size. Many also appreciate its affordability and water resistance. However, some users express concern regarding the limited internal memory and storage space. Adding an SD card is often suggested to mitigate the storage limitations.

    Great Phone

Great phone at a great price. User friendly. Easy to customize. Takes pretty decent photos. Expandable memory. Motorola sells back cases so you can switch up the basic black of the prepaid. I've already dropped it on concrete and it didn't leave a mark.

    Worst phone I've ever had

This phone should be pulled for faulty advertising. It is NOT HD, and I don't know why it's advertised as such. I had an LG Tribute and a Tribute 2 a while back and the whole build of this phone is almost exactly like those phones yet those phones are a quarter of the price and are actually better phones. The display looks almost exactly the same. It is NOT HD. I know what HD looks like, and the Moto G3 misses the mark with all the obvious pixelation. It is basically a waterproof LG Tribute with an IPS Display. I can't believe they advertise this as a "capacitive HD display". It is NOT HD. That only just scratches the surface of the issues with this phone. In the 24 hours that I owned it, I dealt with a laundry list of issues. First off, Google Play kept crashing which was already a bad sign. I actually called Google to get help with this issue and even they couldn't find a solve. At the end of the failed troubleshooting, the rep gave me the number to Motorola and said "good luck." I didn't feel like wasting any more time with it. It overheats when charging or pretty much doing anything. It is slow when running off Wifi and took forever to download anything. It wouldn't download Virgin Mobile Essentials and I kept getting an "Error 20" notification saying as such. The speaker phone is awful and cheap. It vibrates the whole phone and rattles as it comes out of the bottom speaker. The icons look like a 3 year old drew them. I actually called Virgin Mobile to tell them about Google Play and "Error 20". The rep said that Error 20 means the phone is defective and to return for a refund if possible. I didn't waste anymore time with it, and returned it for the J7, but seriously any phone on Virgin is better than this one. In this price range the HTC 626 is your other option, and a far better one. I thought Motorola made better products than this, and I expected a lot more and was amazingly disappointed. This phone is a fail. The last thing I should've done was test the water resistance by just launching it in the ocean. Geez, this phone is terrible. Calls sound awful, too. I wouldn't even pay $10 for this phone. It is that awful. The only good thing about it was that the bluetooth worked and the form factor with rubber battery back was sturdy. That's about the only good things about this phone which is pretty sad. No one gets a phone to say, "hey check out my battery back and the bluetooth on this thing is great!"

Worst phone I have ever owned. Can't think of anything good about it. Hangs almost everytime you make a selection (you get either a white or black screen for 10 to 15 seconds). Touch screen is not responsive, you have to touch it more than once for a response. Trying to answer a call is a nightmare, I miss most calls and have to call back because the phone will not respond to touch. I have to use ear buds on calls, otherwise it is very hard to understand what people are saying. Will never, ever own another motorola phone!
