    I purchased a new laptop at Best Buy Madison WI at West Towne and had the instore Geek Squad install software and transfer my data. I picked up the laptop 12 days later and discovered that I couldn't access the internet with it because it didn't have a port for my cable modem. After a couple of tries and talking with a Geek Squad consultant, I finally got an adapter that seemed to be OK but still couldn't connect to the internet. I had to have a Geek Squad technician come to my house over two weeks later and pay an additional $53. It took him very little time to do a simple fix that, I believe, should have been done in the store. It was a frustrating experience for me. I might recommend Geek Squad to others but I would have some reservations and cautions.
