    Your people are friendly and helpful and for the most part knowledgeable, however the failed to FIX my computer.They billed me for a repair which did not resolve my issue. I would like my money back.

    Microsoft account problem

    I am still receiving messages about a problem with my Microsoft account. I talked with David Carpenter on August 17. He asked whether I would be home that day. I replied yes. No further contact. I emailed him on August 23 - no response. He supposedly fixed this problem earlier in the month.

    This review is not good, and my rating for Best Buy and the Geek Squad service is getting much lower than I intended it to be. The reason is I was extremely disappointed to find out I was misled regarding having more memory added to my purchase in August of 2018 of a MacBook Air. Before I made this purchase, I made it clear to the Best Buy salesperson as well as a Geek Squad employee in the store, who both felt I should buy a MacBook Air, that I needed a laptop computer which would be big enough to handle how I was going to use it. At that time, I was told more memory could be added to a MacBook Air laptop computer if I needed it. Thus, I was "sold" on proceeding with the purchase. Then once again, I was recently told the same by a Geek Squad person, who came to my home to help me, that more memory could be added to this computer. Then to further my disappointment and when I recently went into the store to talk to a Geek Squad employee, I was told more memory could NOT be added to my MacBook Air. That person proceeded to tell me what I could do to gain more memory, and, thus more storage space plus I was advised by that Geek Squad employee to buy a different computer, with the option of trading in my MacBook Air. At this point, I feel like this was a "bait and switch" type of sale. Therefore, I will be very hesitant to make any future purchases at a Best Buy store, and I will never feel confident with the advice and services I receive from the Geek Squad.     Problems not fixed. Still not audio, printers still going off-line, and keep losing internet connection.

    iPhone repair

    The agent made an evaluation of the iPhone and concern and submitted it for repair. The diagnostics determined that it was unrepairable so the technician reached out to Apple for replacement. My complaint with Best Buy was that the agent did not keep in touch with us at all. I heard from a technician after I submitted a negative evaluation. At that time the technician informed me politely that he was not in agreement with my evaluation. He blamed the lack of communication on Apple. The technician stated that Apple did not get in touch with him. My complaint was that regardless of whether Apple was in contact with Best Buy or not the technician should have stayed in touch with us When my son left Best Buy with the phone the first time it should’ve been in working order and was not completely checked out by the technician. My son didn’t even make it home with the phone before realizing that it was not in working order. He returned immediately to Best Buy. A new Sim card was placed in the phone and the phone was not functioning properly so a new work order was started. Once again Best Buy did not stay in touch. Mr. Pat Curry was the only person who finally, genuinely, try to get some resolution to our problem. Mr. Curry then said he would definitely get back to me the following Wednesday about this phone situation. He did not. I then took it upon myself to reach out to Apple and a Schurian and had a phone in my hands in 24 hours I have never had this kind of service at Best Buy and have been dealing with them ever since they’re opening in Springfield Delaware County, I don’t even know how many years ago Fortunately 99% of our interactions and purchases at Best Buy have been good. We did purchase a lemon computer a few years back and that was a headache too but for the most part geek squad is better than average effective! Like any other service it’s not the service itself but who you get to provide it. Some providers are definitely more in tune with their game than others. We have had good geek squad technicians and we have had poor geek squad technicians

    Sound quality not good.

    I've had a number of techs try to improve the sound quality one my Samsung TV but to no avail. Don't know where to try next. The set was purchased here but no one seems to know how to remedy the situation.

    No show geek squad

    I signed up for the Geek Squad for &200 a year. I had some trouble with my computer. I was told I would have to bring it in to be fixed. Then I was told they’d come out and fix it. Then I was told again that I had to bring it in. It is a desk top and is large and unwieldy. I am 79 years old. It will be difficult for me to carry it in to the store. What did I pay &200 for??!!

    Tech thought the repair had been made but the next day it went back to the same problem. Tech suggested I get it fixed remotely but I have not had the time to do that. I have not had a problem with Geek Squad previously.
