    Geek Squad quickly solved intrusion

    I had fraud rep from Norton who I allowed in my computer as I did have a Norton subscription. Geek Squad removed the program they were using and cleaned up my computer explaining what they were doing as they were doing it.

    Printer set up in home service

    After several attempts at installing a Canon printer (Covid 19 wasn't a help either) we signed up for Best Buy Tech Service. Our technician (Zac) came to our house and very patiently got the hardware installed on our computers. I was pleasantly surprised when he showed me how to print from my phone! He even installed Web Root on our Apple laptops. His work was guaranteed for 30 days. Our printer is working just fine now.

    I had a very poor experience with Best Buy. I paid for an in-house service because I’m 67 years old. The guy did not show up then I had three or four days calling constantly for a representative who didn’t speak English didn’t know what to do and then finally, I drove to the store and told them my problem that no one came to fix the virus off my phone and I’m very angry so they told me to bring it in and I brought it in took me additional three days to get it back so no the service was terrible. I’m not happy about it at all.

    Although the internet problem resumed the next day, Rob was determined to fix the problem. He went so far as to go to Best Buy and purchased an external device. The problem resisted so I returned the device and decided the Dell computer was irreparable.

    Geek Squad virus removal and system cleanup.

    The agents were friendly, courteous, and very polite. Only four stars because i am not sure they got all the viruses and/or trojans, etc. Would like to have seen a complete report on what needed removed and how many. Other than not seeing the final report, the agents were great. I highly recommend Geek Squad support.

    The Geek Squad Technician was knowledgeable and quick in reviewing my desk top computer system. He also was careful in regard to my request to not change the set up of my system. He was patient, courteous and professional in handling the repair.

    Use to be A-1 service.

    Geek Squad, Broke my system and shut down my internet browser so I could not use my computer. it started through their online support. I actually went through 5 agent over the course of 24 hours of whom I have their names, After the forth Agent (Agent Syed) disconnected me from there server and left a email message stating that we had gotten disconnected by the internet ( I watched him push the button to close out the chat and reboot my system. in doing so he deleted my browser .exe files. I tried to contact Geek Squad by phone again and was passed around for about an hour. finally I was again transferred to Tech support and was told he (Agent David C) couldn't get someone out to my home to fix my system until Feb 1 2022 because without access to my browser he could not fix the issue we tried his way to get the browser up for about an hour he could not get the application to work . I had to figured out how to get my bowser back up and running myself and gave him access to my system again and he installed a different browser (complete waste of time since I had already installed a browser). Most of these Agents Don't seem to have a A+ Certification so there skills or below unsatisfactory. I have bee a member of Geek Squad for over 8 years I believe and since BestBuy started sending calls to over-seas technicians the service is horrible. I want my money back the service is not worth it, and because of the language barrier totally frustrating. The Agent is reading from a script and all the trouble shooting is done through script files. Not a replacement for a person with some computer knowledge and trouble shooting skills. I understand that BestBuy is probably farming out their Tech support to save money but the consumer is getting very poor service. I have tried to get a phone number for someone to refund all my money because the service is horrible no one at the stores I called would give me a number or any contact information. Really poor service BestBuy you just lost a really good customer!

    Geek Squad installed my new LG 27" TV
