While it was still functional, I loved this tablet! Plenty of RAM, local storage and expansion port, good processor. Not able to run the newest version of Android, but still good for ebooks and digital comic book reading. Great as a portable screen to watch YouTube videos while traveling. Speakers are definitely sub-par and that doesn't matter because everyone has headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. Wi-fi was stable. FHD Screen was large, bright, and clear. If it was set to the highest brightness, it got very warm very quickly. The durable case and detachable keyboard are super convenient. Now, the downfall: the USB charging port (the only way to charge the battery or power the tablet) is very cheap. It broke just days after the manufacturer's warranty expired. I contacted my salesperson at Visual Land to find out how to fix it. He instructed me that warranty returns are not fixed, but instead thrown in the garbage and the customer is mailed a new unit. I contacted the warranty department to get more information on the part, as I know local electronics repair folks could take care of it. They did not have that information. Without a schematic, replacing the part could be hit or miss. The pin configuration is different across most tablets, so just popping it open and replacing the part won't fix the issue. You might end up sending electricity to the wrong part and frying something. Sadly, after a year (an entire year) of trying to get more information, I gave up. I wish I could rate it higher. While it functions, this tablet will be the great budget find. You might get a couple year's use out of it. With additional small electronics warranty coverage, maybe you'd get some support in case of malfunction.
