The image quality ranges from a 3.5 to 4 out of 5 depending on settings and lighting but I own a $600 Fuji that is on par with this. More then enough for posts on Instagram's tiny image posts, just don't expect good night/dark shots. You will be hard pressed to find a digital camera with this image quality AND such a far OPTICAL zoom (digital zoom is basically just cropping) at this price range and with this classic "Fuji" aesthetic.

Decent for the price

It took my wife some time to learn how to properly use it, but once she understood the features she started to get decent pictures
