Sound bar does not work.

Followed all troubleshooting procedures to rectify the situation without resolution. After several failed attempts is was determined that the sound bar unit itself would not accepting any input i.e. all connection were done correctly, the Digital Optical cable was functioning properly and the TV Sound settings correctly applied.

There are many audio adjustments that can be made with the remote of your soundbar to affect this. We recommend adjusting these to your liking.

not a reliable product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Forget about connecting with the digital cable. Sound would cut out within 5 minutes after starting. Tried to connect with RCA cables and it worked about 75% of the time. Sound was ok. Wasn't expecting too much from it because of the price but I at least expected it to work using the basic connections. Exchanged the first one thinking I purchased a defective one but same thing happened with the second one.

ok for a small room

Regretful

Main thing is, in silent moments where there is low or no sound from tv etc, the bar has a hissing sound coming from it. Second is, not easy to pair. Quite difficult. Even worse is when you have the same make of tv. Twice as diffucult to use either one, paired or not. Makes me want to stear clear of all Vizio products.

Broken at 22 months

Additionally, when it did work, the sound did not change gradually, there was one volume setting that was too soft, and the next setting was slightly too loud. It would have been better to have more precise control. Will not buy Vizio in the future.

Not good. Had bad sound then died.

(Got it on sale) Had it about a week then the speaker would just start making a loud pulsing noise when connected. Could not fix it. Gave up and exchanged for a better one. Worth the extra $.

Not a good buy - returned

The time I could get it to work at all, its sound wasn't much of an improvement over the stock tv speakers. Doesn't give me a good feeling about the Visio brand. I returned it for a full refund and as always the Best Buy experience was great, just not a good product.

Stopped working after a few months

It has stopped working!! I've tried rebooting everything but there is absolutely no sound from it. For a little while tonight, as I switched channels, it would start out blaring and then adjust to where I had it set. Then out of nowhere, it just stopped working.

Didn't work for us

It took several calls to the Geek Squad before we got the useful information that there was no sound bar compatible with our TV! You can't hear it unless you sit quietly right in front of the set. I don't know if the sound bar works on other models. We took it back.
