Q: What is the difference between the sb2920-d6 and the sb2920-c6
A: You can compare tech specs at the following web locations: https://support.vizio.com/s/article/SB2920-C6-Model-Information?language=en_US https://support.vizio.com/s/article/SB2920-D6-Model-Information?language=en_US The primary difference I see, apart from a minor difference in the low freq response (70 vs 75 Hz), is that the D6 supports Dolby Digital sound and the C6 did not. Also, the speaker size shown for the D6 is 1/4" larger than the speaker size in the C6. I know it's probably too late to help the original poster, but perhaps others have the same question, as I did.

Q: I see a subwoofer plug in, what subwoofer do I use ?
A: You can only use a power sunwoofer with it with a line level input. You'll also need to make sure the sub has a frequency cut off so the sound bar and subwoofer blends nicely. Most new powered subwoofers have the needed controls to match the sub with the soundbar.
A: Dear Grecho: I am currently using this same soundbar for my 40 inch Sony flat screen. Moreover, I bought this soundbar as a present for son, who also has a 40 inch Sony flat screen. this product performs exceptionally well in both cases. I also added a sub-woofer to my audio configuration. Just simply movie theater like sound in each case.
A: Okay...this "blows" (technical term!). What I have found is that if I disable TVOL and disable TSHD on the soundbar, and on the TV: enable SurroundSound, enable Volume Leveling this is the makes the vol+ and vol- in the smallest increments. I am very disappointed in this soundbar and will rate it accordingly because of this.
