You can compare tech specs at the following web locations: https://support.vizio.com/s/article/SB2920-C6-Model-Information?language=en_US https://support.vizio.com/s/article/SB2920-D6-Model-Information?language=en_US The primary difference I see, apart from a minor difference in the low freq response (70 vs 75 Hz), is that the D6 supports Dolby Digital sound and the C6 did not. Also, the speaker size shown for the D6 is 1/4" larger than the speaker size in the C6. I know it's probably too late to help the original poster, but perhaps others have the same question, as I did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Both sound bars are approximately the same size, and have similar features. Both have an Audio Pressure Level of 95 Db, and both have the same connections. The primary difference is that the SB2920-C6 was released in 2015, and the SB2920-D6 was released in 2016.

To my ears, the d6 has more bass response. My d6 has a connection for a sub woofer, my c6 does not. They each use a different remote. The remote allows access to functions not available with the control buttons. The outside dimensions are the same as well as the bracket connection points. One last point... If you are buying a used system, you are going to need a proper remote control, a compatible power supply, a 3.5mm cable for aux hookup to TV. You may also need a digital cable or an RCA cable for alternate hookup choices. Try to find a unit that has all these accessories already included.
