      Hello RenaP, thank you for your feedback. If you would like more Bass you can adjust the Bass level of the sound bar with the separate Bass adjustment in the sound bar menu. You may also benefit by turning the TruVolume or TruSurround features off as this will give you a more direct signal without audio adjustments. VIZIO

    Doesn't work with broadcast digital TV channels

    Tried several televisions, and this soundbar when connected with the digital optical cable does not work with the digitally broadcast television stations. Analog stations work fine, but those are remnant stations, with almost all stations in this area having gone digital.

      When using the Digital Optical (sometimes called SPDIF) or Digital Coaxial connections on your VIZIO SB2920, simply set the source device to output PCM audio. Depending on how you’re connected to your Sound Bar these settings will be located in either your Television, or your Source Device (Cable Box). VIZIO

      While this Sound Bar doesn't come with a subwoofer, it does have a sub-woofer output (labeled SUB OUT). If you get a subwoofer you could connect it to the Sound Bar to get those deeper bass tones. VIZIO

    Not positive, but true. Could not tell any difference in sound quality from Visio TV speakers. Decided to give it a chance anyway, but within a couple of days it developed a loud buzz. I did return it and am back to TV speakers.

    A month after purchase it stopped playing the Hulu app that came with my Samsung tv that I got at Best Buy. Had to call VIZIO and get a replacement. Have yet to test it out on my Hulu app!! A bit crazy

    Began to reverb within 30 days

    The speakers on my Vizio tv began to muffle and reverb 1 year after purchasing from Best Buy. I bought this and it, too began to reverb. I returned the sound bar - too late for the tv. I'll buy another sound bar soon. (With warranty.)

    We purchased the sound bar because we were told (and the reviews stated) it would level out the sound from our new 60" Vizio television. It has not helped one iota. Channel to channel the tv either screams or whispers, no in between.

Depending on your source, the volume may be being broadcast at different levels (causing some channels to be louder, and other to be quieter). To compensate for the different audio levels that may be broadcast, we've included some settings like DTS Truvolume.     Installed this soundbar and worked fine for a while. Then remote woukd not function nor the buttons on top of the unit. Ended up returning this product and buying a samsung with a wireless sub. Very happy with that product.

    bought this due to recommendation of a store employee at best buy when we bought a tv. he said it would make the sound quality better. It did not. the tv sounds better without the soundbar. it was returned to store.

    Absolutely terrible soundbar trash itkept turning itself off and it doesn’t even use a hdmi cord it’s ao stupid spend a little bit more money and get a dope sound bar. Absolute garbage

    Don't buy this -unless maybe you get/have a subwoofer. The sound is awful. I thought maybe it was me, but after others visited they said the same. I am going to return this product

    Purchased bar, after 35 min. On phone with tech support, determined bar was bad. Switched for another which turned out to be bad as well. I gave up after 2 faulty units.

    Was inconsistent at picking up sound to start and then froze. No restart ever worked and after two calls to Visio couldn't fix it, they sent me a new one.
