Good clear sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good quality sound. Don't expect thundering bass. Get the wireless subwoofer option if you need that. Plugged it in with optical cable. It worked. Dramatically improved the pathetic TV sound (turn that down to prevent echoing). Don't expect much range of adjustment on bass or treble. Select the True sound and Simulated Surround Sound. You're done. The remote is quite reponsive. That being said, this is not for the "primary TV" which we use for most theater type viewing. For that we have a decent surround unit with woofer etc. This Vizio delivers good sound for us while we watch the news or PBS Kids. And I would not use this to bluetooth music. Overall, a great unit. But don't expect it to sound like $400. And if you think great sound is rumbling big bass, get the sub woofer.

Great for value - Comcast issue

Low price, Bluetooth function, and sub woofer output were my my requirements and this hits all 3. Easy setup and comes with an optical cable. Only issue I have seen is that the Comcast X1 remote turns up and down the volume twice as much as the included remote. That means it get much louder than it should. I have to keep the stock remote nearby for fine tune volume control. I will most likely buy another for my garage tv as well.

Delivered beyond expectations

Honestly I have used it only intermittently but when I do, it has exceeded expectations!! The range and crispness of sounds is just fantastic and will easily convert your living room to a home theater experience for such low price!! 100% Strong Buy !!

Not a SmartCast product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite being the newest version of their entry-level soundbar, the product does NOT have the Google Cast feature. If you really want to cast music over wifi, you're gonna have to get another version, which is more expensive. That being said, the soundbar is really good. It has a very clear sound and makes a good companion for the new 32-inch E-Series, which is a SmartCast product.

Price was great too!! (open box of course) but it came in perfect condition. Now of course if you want boom box loud surround sound well you need to spend more $$$. This a very easy on pocketbook & easy set up sound bar. You won't be disappointed.....

Great Soundbar for the price

The sound quality is excellent, there is no distortion of sound with higher volume settings, and I can hook up to my phone with blue-tooth if I want. Looking to buy a second one just for my office.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I bought this on black Friday for half price ..for that price it is a very good soundbar for what I needed it for..I couldnt hear my TV while running on my treadmill and this did the trick just fine..it has good volume and it sounds decent (for the price) if I had payed full price I would rate it 3 stars..I do have a 5.1 set up in my main TV viewing area and this is by no way is anywhere near that nor is this soundbar Audiophile Quality ( no one should think that for the price but just my 2 cents) but for most non audiophiles and in a smaller room its a good soundbar to use instead of TV's speakers.. If someone was wanting to use it in a main large viewing area then I would say pass and spend more and get something else

Great sound for size

Watched Star Wars, and everything was crystal clear and gorgeous. Unfortunately, I bought this as a gift for my partner, and when I ordered it online I read that no packing/pricing details would be on the package, but then it arrived and there was no external packaging! Just the product box! No padding for transport, nothing to conceal what was being shipped, no way to hide what I bought when he answered the door to accept the delivery. So I deducted one star for that. Bad policy, Best Buy. But a good product from Vizio.

I hooked it up with a rocketfish optic cable and a monster aux cord for the mp3 player. I hope it lasts me a long time.

Worked Instantly with Visio TV

Returned and purchased this Visio unit. Plugged in the power and RCA audio plugs and the sound came on instantly, and both my Visio TV and Comcast remotes worked immediately. No pairing, no searching for codes, no YouTube videos. The remote allows easy adjustment for bass, treble and surround sound-- and is very intuitive. Great little device in a compact package. Helps make America Great, in my TV room!
