Most newer tv's have extremely low quality sound. In all honesty I did purchase the Visio sound bar anticipating this and because of the price was not expecting a lot. If it was even marginally better than the tv speakers I would've been happy. Let me tell you! That sound bar rocks out for an inexpensive unit! Very happy with it and doubly happy that the visio tv remote controls the volume like a champ. One remote to rule them all.

I am very impressed by the sound that this little sound bar puts out. it easily fills up the living room and has good bass for not having a separate sub.

It was easy to hook up with little frustration. Price was reasonable. Sound is great and easy to adjust base and treble. So glad I bought it for the deck TV.

I get awesome sound, and have found it to be very reliable. So no problems. It was very easy to hook up to my cable box, and DVD player.

I needed a clearer more powerful speaker for my 32" Vizio kitchen TV. It installs easily with a nice wall mount template and integrates seemlessly with a Vizio TV by utilizing the same power and volume IR codes. The only real downside is in the bass. Since this model doesn't include a sub, the bass sounds a bit hollow and boomy. Adjusting the EQ helps to minimize it, but this problem is to be expected from any small soundbar.

I was having trouble haring the vocals in movies and television without turning the volume on my tv almost all the way up, which also made the explosions, music, and other sounds in the show or movie really loud (loud enough that I am certain my neighbors were hearing everything and I live in a house not an apartment). With this sound bar I am able to hear the voices and keep the other parts of the show or movie at a comfortable level and the volume low enough that my neighbors aren't having to turn up their televisions to drown out mine.
