First it gives a better and clearer sound than the TV. It is crisp and clear for what air needed and I already had a 10 inch sub to connect to it which completed it for me. Don't expect bells and whistles with this. It does have all the inputs you would need to connect to your TV, Xbox, etc. You have to learn light patterns to know which input you are using but what do you expect for the price. Absolutely, a great product for its cost.
