He had to go on line to find the code for my TV because the codes in the included info set-up did not work. The sound is now directed forward instead of from the back of my TV which was sending it up on open stairwell. I like it just fine and the price was right too!

It took a bit longer to set up but that problem was related to a setting on my TV and not the soundbar. The volume control on the remote should should be more accurate. A slight touch increases the volume too much.

To be clear, you will for sure hear a difference between the speakers built into your set and this soundbar. But it will not be a night-and-day kind of thing. If you are looking for something that will add far more "wow" then get a soundbar with a subwoofer. A sub will not only improve the low-end sound but it will add a richness to the whole range of sounds in whatever you are watching. For standard TV shows like sit-coms it won't be so noticeable, but if you watch movies or shows with bigger action-y scenes then you will really be impressed. This soundbar is not bad but for only a bit more money you would really be able to hear the difference.
