A great deal on an open-box soundbar.

I was able to get an open-box soundbar that offers good-quality audio; the only issue is that the remote was missing, so I am currently looking for a remote that lets me adjust the bass-treble levels. (The speaker level is a bit on the bass-y side; treble-bass levels can't be adjusted manually.)

I was weary of the "you get what you pay for" when approaching the buying of a sound bar, but we just don't have the budget to tap into a larger, more luxurious sound system right now. All that went away when I brought this home and plugged it in. For the price-point, this sound bar really impressed me. It is very sleek looking and I like the minimalist design of the light that signifies the current volume (as well as other audio controls). All we needed was to finally rid ourselves of the dreaded, unbalanced stock TV speakers effect of not being able to hear any dialogue/voices without having to blast the speakers and hear the crashes and booms of background noise. Now we have a more balanced sound where we don't have to blast the speakers. It isn't perfect, depending on the input, sometimes we need to still turn the volume down when the music/SFX gets too loud (since we live in an apartment) but it serves its function well. I think the best balanced system would be to have true surround sound with speakers behind you as well but this does the general trick for now. The bass is plentiful, in fact, we had to turn ours down because it was too punchy! For those on a budget, you won't be disappointed by this product.

This sound bar is a great find for my needs. The TV sound broadcast to the rear and was difficult to understand soft conversations. The sound bar sits in front (or can be hung) and projects sound directly front. Easy installation. The volume is a little tricky to coordinate with the tv settings but trial and error works. Bluetooth to iPad iPhone or whatever. This is not a thousand dollar surround system but unless you're really picky you won't know it.

    Just OK

Set up was easy with my Vizio TV. TV remote automatically worked with the speaker without any real setting up. Bluetooth works fairly easily. Sounds quality is OK. The speaker can get either too loud or not loud enough. There doesn't seem to be a setting that's just right for the volume. Not a ton of bass and the mid range is lacking. Basically at low volume it has not enough mid level and if you go just a bit louder it sounds too tinny. I've played with the treble and bass a bit and it's just hard to find the right mix.

I've been looking for a sound bar for my TV for a while now. It's only a 34 inch TV so it had to be a small sound bar. I had purchased one and returned it because it was too big previous to this one. This one is perfect for my television! I don't have any other speakers attached to it and it has excellent sound for my 3 bedroom apartment! :-)

I had read reviews on another soundbar and went to my local best buy to purchase it. When I got there I spoke with a salesperson who showed me the one I was originally going to purchase. It didn't have bluetooth capability and was bigger than I had expected it to be. He asked me what I was going to use it for and I told him I was going to use it in my travel trailer. He then showed me this one which has bluetooth and was smaller than the other one. It was on sale for the same price. I decided to go with his suggestion as my trailer isn't that big and I though it would work better in the space. I hooked it up at home to my tv and it worked great. I have used it when we have gone camping in our trailer and it is great having the bluetooth option as I hook up a tablet with movies on to the tv then use the bluetooth option for the sound. Glad I went with this one.

Replaced non-HD tv in bedroom. Today's moderate sized TV sets have no real speakers and so sound tinny. This was the most reasonably priced small sound bar that seemed adequate. It is more than adequate. I play music from my phone while cleaning and it sounds great. The tv sound is fine. It was a very good purchase.

I didn't want a sound bar or a surround sound system, but my beautiful 40" Samsung 6300 series tv had lousy speakers. This is perfect -- turns on and off with the Comcast remote and has been little to no hassle. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the comcast remote causes it to jump two steps when going up and down volume, whereas the remote control that came with the Vizio soundbar only jumps one step. This means it's very hard to fine tune the volume without using the buttons on the soundbar or the soundbar remote. Otherwise fantastic.

This is a great value. The sound quality is excellent for most applications. Bluetooth pairing is a breeze. The only glitch I've encountered is that after using with bluetooth, it can be a problem getting it to re sync with the intended primary source otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Didn't connect properly via the optical - connected through the TV but only recognized the Xbox one sounds. Had to connect analog to get the TV audio to come through. Volume control only has large sound jumps. Not for fine tuning. You either get it quiet, loud or louder, no in-between. But for the price it's good.

I bought this sound bar because I wanted to improve the sound from my tv I always thought it was a little weak so I bought this vizio sound bar and was very impressed with it improved my tv greatly. The set up was simple and for the price very impressed if you have the living room size and budget I would recommend the 7.1 vizio setup but if you are like me with limited space and just want a better sound this is it.

I was impressed with this soundbar especially given the low price. I have a similar Vizio soundbar they is amazing! It’s a 3 channel and cane with a subwoofer so obviously much better soud. This was $150 and considering that it dose not come with a separate subwoofer still sounds good

Purchased this due to the poor sound quality of my TV. This sound bar gives very good sound for the price! I also like the fact it is Bluetooth compatible so I can use it to play music from my phone. It is not a surround sound system but it can fill the room with a quality that far surpassed my expectations.

This is the first sound bar that I have purchased, so I don't have much to compare to it, but I love it. The sound quality is phenomenal for my small apartment and it is simple to switch between sound for TV and the Bluetooth option for music. I would purchase this brand again if I needed to upgrade.

Good sound, a little in your face sound if you are used to the normally muted sound of a television. The backgound sounds of a broadcast can be distracting at first if your not used to hearing the background music etc. Had to adjust settings for less bass for my taste. Works with VizioTV remote, Just remember to turn off theTV speakers in the TV settings. Buy the VIZIO 38" Sound Bar model if you have the space.

I got this for my dad who's hard of hearing. Connected it to a Dynex LCD. Sounds better than the tv speakers, fills up the room nicely. Only minor inconvenience is having to use the 2nd remote to control the volume, as the tv/fios remote will not control it. Other than that, satisfied.

This is a great Sound Bar. It works well and was very easy to set up. I previously had a POLK and it recently "died". I the price of the POLK was much higher, and I don't remember the sound being as good as this one. I did not want a sub woofer and the sales associate recommended this one. This was the cheaper in cost and it sounds great, Very easy to use, and I was up and running almost immediately.

I wanted a good sound bar without breaking the bank and this was it. Works exactly like it should. The only thing is the volume up and down buttons can dramatically change how loud it is sometimes, but I found my happy medium. It doesn’t connect to Alexa sadly.
